I feel like one of the first things Bruce would’ve done after adopting Jason would’ve been to put him in the will because Bruce knew if he died as Batman one day Jason wouldn’t have anything to support himself. He’d be too young to go out as Robin alone and sure he could stay in the manor and Alfred wouldn’t kick him out but he’d want Jason to be able to support himself to some extent since independence was so important to Jason (at least Bruce would’ve thought so).
That being said Jason seeing his name taken out of the will and replaced by Tim would’ve been like a thousand daggers. Because he would always have the question if he was put in there at all.
