Gohan wasn’t a crybaby, he was just a four year old lmao
Gohan was literally a baby.
Exactly like...yeah, he’s a baby...he’s gonna cry
A child in traumatizing situations no less! Every time he cried he had a damn good reason too. I can't remember Gohan crying just because he was a toddler crying to get his way.
He was kidnapped, father was tortured, kidnapped again and told his father was dead. All of that was one day. And his reasons for crying throughout his childhood were for no less terrible reasons. Gohan had every right to be a "crybaby", his childhood was violently ripped from him.
And I'd ask anyone who calls him so. Just how many times did Gohan cry as a teen? As an adult? I can only think of the time Gohan cried in GT and it's because Piccolo had died.
Idk why tf people call Gohan a cry baby. Like wtf, even if he is half saiyan and one of the strongest fighters to ever exist, he's still a child. He had to watch people die. Watch his father die. Be nearly killed and tortured several times while he was only 5 and 9 years old! He had the literal weight of the world on his shoulders. Gohan had every right to cry.
I'm actually surprised we didn't see him cry more like when Cell was torturing his friends and father.
It makes sense and brings things into deeper context of why in Super he refused to let his daughter witness and experience such horrible things. It's why, although he prefers studying, he always gets back to training, to protect his loved ones. Sure, as a saiyan he does enjoy a friendly match, but not to the extent of a full blooded saiyan like Goku and Vegeta. And even then, Goku and Vegeta, as much as they love to fight would never risk the lives of innocents or the people they love! Again, Gohan is very much a lovable nerd who prefers a quiet and happy life with his loved ones.
Haters can just sit tf down because they do not understand the depth of Gohan's character and experiences.
This makes it hurt when Gohan turned super sayian the first time and he was pretty much beating himself up for not being more useful against the Sayians or Freeza.
Also, Gohan:
-woke up from unconsciousness to learn that his father was dead and he was going to be trained by Piccolo (at the age of 4)
-saw Yamcha get blown up (at the age of 5)
-saw Chiaotzu blow himself up in a sacrifice that turned out to be in vain (at the age of 5)
-saw Tenshinhan die (at the age of 5)
-saw Piccolo die in front of him (at the age of 5)
-saw Freeza and his goons murder several Namekian villagers (at the age of 5)
-saw Kuririn get impaled through the chest (at the age of 5)
-saw Freeza kill Dende (at the age of 5)
-saw Vegeta get beaten to within an inch of death and then shot through the heart (at the age of 5)
-saw Kuririn explode in midair as he screamed in agony (at the age of 5)
-saw his father sacrifice himself in vain (at the age of 9)
And this was all before he even turned ten. Of course he's going to cry. He witnessed multiple people get violently assaulted, even killed, as he watched in horror, not being able to do anything. He saw four people die in a single day. At the age of 5. It's a miracle he wasn't traumatized.
