Resources and Information About Indigenous People of Mexico Pre European Invasion + More info about Mexico and Mexican people
Since there is a lot of information that many people do not know about the indigenous people of Mexico and many demonize and make them seem lesser and subhuman, particularly the Mexica, most commonly known as the Aztec people, and only hyper focus on human sacrifice; I wanted to make a post that compiles a list where people can learn many things that I find is typically not known such as the knowledge indigenous people, most notably the Mexica, held.
This is especially important as people keep on spouting the belief that the indigenous people of what is now Mexico were ‘backwards’ who were living in the ‘stone age’ and had little to no knowledge before European invaders arrived. This could not be further from the truth.
