and GAY for Kara…
A concept?
Oh I’m weak. And turned on
Somehow the idea of Lena Luthor going to a rodeo event with a parasol is better than the smut Melissa’s gif promises with that little tongue thing.
Okay, here goes: Lena is the daughter of a wealthy cattle baron, and Kara is the daughter of a local rancher doing his best to resist selling out to the Luthors.
When they hear the Luthors are going to be at the county rodeo, Alex gripes and groans and hopes they all step in cowpies. But when Kara catches sight of the Luthors’ youngest daughter (back home after years away at boarding school back east), she’s doomed from the start.
Kara finds herself watching Lena more than the rodeo, and Lena periodically glances back, and somehow seems surprised every time she finds Kara still looking.
When Lena gets up to stretch her legs at half time, Kara quickly rises to follow the lacey white parasol. She scrambles over Alex’s lap to reach the aisle, and trots through the crowd until she tracks the umbrella down to the concession stand.
The crowd gives Lena irritated looks– the parasol is unwieldy in a crowd like this– but Kara can see how she needs it. Her skin is so fair, she’d fry in the hot sun.
“Hi. I’m Kara.”
Lena looks up at her with that same, pleasantly surprised look.
Kara is done for.
Later, Kara walks Lena back to where her family’s car is waiting. The parking lot is little more than a field, and a recent cow run at that. She spies a hidden present among the grass, and smoothly diverts Lena around it with a soft hand on her elbow.
“Watch your step,” she murmurs.
Lena bumps into her, smiling gently. “Thanks.”
Back at her own truck, Kara meets Alex’s glower with flushed cheeks.
“The one chance I had of seeing a Luthor step in it, and you just had to ruin it.”
