no but from the 14 y/o takane having braces

imagine her getting them and being all embarassed about it so she denies to open her mouth like for days and oops she has school monday so shes really silent and doesnt even looks haruka’s way because she’s scared he’ll see her like that and think she’s ugly

but haruka insists so much and she keeps hiding until

she snaps and yells at him, exposing the braces and

he just smiles. he has braces too.

imagine haruka and takane in the same middleschool and theres haruka reassuring takane about her braces and he gives her a smile and it almost makes her actually smile but then shes focused on his braces and thinks back to how she looks and frowns

Remember when Takane thought Shintaro to be "cute" and then he proceeds to ruthlessly beat her in the game she's best at, and how they frustrates and annoys the other, and then after The Day and Takane comes in as Ene and she sees Herself reflected in Shin and she just Can't Let Him bear that pain anymore so she Stays, she STAYS by his side and just like Ayano's "last words" to her "he needs someone to Push him out of his comfort zone" and Ene did just That, she's going to get Shin out of that Dark Hole, even if she gotta drag him to do it
