From Steve Martin for Virginia Senate:
Medicaid Expansion is rearing its ugly head again -- this time in the form of SB 1363. As far as I'm concerned, this is Dead On Arrival.
During President Obama's State of the Union, he's sure to tout the economy has gotten better under his leadership, but a record 92,898,000 Americans did not participate in the labor force. That's the lowest level since 1978.
It's time for the President to move past his failed policies of the past and focus more on less government and lower taxes.

Virginia can't afford the Obama-Warner War on Coal.
Twelve years ago, terrorists struck our nation. Today we join our fellow Americans in remembering those who were lost on 9/11 and honor the courageous men and women who stepped forward to defend our nation's freedom. We will never forget.
Remember Obama's July 2009 speech to the American Medical Association where he declared, "If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period."?
Well, it seems like every other day we are hearing about individuals who are no longer able to keep their current health care plans. Today, that unfortunate situation happened at UPS:
United Parcel Service Inc. plans to remove thousands of spouses from its medical plan because they are eligible for coverage elsewhere. The Atlanta-based logistics company points to the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, as a big reason for the decision, Kaiser Health News reports.
ObamaCare must be repealed and replaced.
According to a heretofore-unpublished memorandum from the Congressional Research Service, the Obama Administration has missed 41 out of 82 ObamaCare deadlines!
Once again, we are reminded of the many failures of the ObamaCare train wreck. It must be repealed and replaced.

Virginia gubernatorial hopeful Terry McAuliffe's business partner, GreenTech President Charles Wang, told the New York Times this weekend that he wishes he hadn’t gone into business with McAuliffe and added:
I learned a lot of things. Politicians or people with political backgrounds are dangerous to business.

McAULIFFE LINKED TO SOLYNDRA: Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe's company, GreenTech, courted Obama’s key White House aide responsible for helping bankrupt solar-panel maker Solyndra win $535 MILLION in federal loans. SHARE if you're fed up with McAuliffe and all of his liberal cronies.

President Obama's 'War on Coal' continues and will result in 207 coal plants closing their doors over the next decade. His radical agenda will result in a loss of over 40,000 megawatts of electricity and thousands of jobs. SHARE if you disagree with Obama's war on coal.

When your candidate refuses to do debates without notes and the chance to confer with staff during commercial breaks, you know the campaign is in trouble.

Cuccinelli For Governor Campaign Strategist Chris LaCivita today released the following statement after the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce informed both campaigns of the rules for its September 25 debate, which will be co-hosted by NBC 4 and moderated by Chuck Todd. Due to the urging of the McAuliffe campaign, the Chamber today announced that both candidates will be allowed to bring extensive notes to the podium and will have the option of conferring with staff members during commercial breaks.
Terry McAuliffe is so afraid to be on stage with Ken Cuccinelli that he won’t participate in debates without notes and the chance to confer with staff. Given the fact that he has been unable to unveil legislation in front of reporters or the public, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that McAuliffe is unwilling to be alone on stage with Ken Cuccinelli for even an hour.
Although Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes launched her campaign a month ago, the Kentucky US Senate candidate just released a new video announcing that she will kickoff her campaign next week. In the web video, Alison Grimes tells voters that she “doesn’t scare easy," but less than a second later her reaction tells a different story: She scares quite quickly.
Oops.
Joined by supporters from around Virginia, the Mark Obenshain for Attorney General Campaign today launched the Women for Obenshain Coalition.

A couple days ago, Democrat Michelle Nunn announced that she will run for the U.S. Senate in Georgia. While Nunn attempts to run from President Obama's unpopular liberal agenda in her deep red state, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) bragged to an Organizing for America event about recruiting her and called her a "really good" pick to implement Obama's agenda.
SHARE if you agree that we don't need another far-left Democrat in the U.S. Senate to streamline President Obama and Senator Harry Reid's liberal agenda.

In 1962, the Democrats began their half-century stranglehold on the city of Detroit. Fast forward to the 2012 presidential campaign, President Obama bragged about not allowing Detroit to go bankrupt. Unfortunately, as of yesterday, Detroit became the largest U.S. city to file for bankruptcy... A misfortunate outcome due to decades of failed liberal polices. SHARE if you agree.
