I know that there are plenty of actual people online who think having intrusive and or horny thoughts is a moral failing but I still feel weird about people using "thought criminal" as a signifier bc 1. A lot of the time what people mean by "thought" is "action." Like they're talking about an action they perceive as inconsequential, not a thought they had. Which is objectively different than being criticized for your thoughts and feelings. I just kinda think that's intellectually dishonest framing that muddies the waters of what youre talking about. 2. It's so libertarian right wing politician core and you can only ironically utilize that framing for so long until it just becomes sincere
