“Captain Clark (the Terrible) and His Son Clark”
watched the backrooms movie, enjoyed it immensely, everyone had already remade that one goya painting so i went for this one :)
whatever i'll crosspost this one
Got blocked on facebook for disagreeing with:
"We need to focus puberty education on women. Periods are stigmatized. Men don't understand what it's like. If a high school girl gets her period in class, classmates will make fun of her. If a high school boy gets an erection in class, it's a badge of honor."
??? They'll mock that boy too. You can request more education on periods or whatever without pretending like boys dont also get mocked for puberty symptoms.
I just can't stop thinking about Backrooms, and that dinner scene. Like. There's so much out there, but especially the metaphor "your bad qualities/trauma can eat you up." I've found so many things, so many messages to the audience (ESPECIALLY in Clark's character), that it's crazy
like yeah the weed dude from the backrooms movie was kinda cute but if you can only engage with media when you're thirsting over the characters that's a fucking issue
Backroom good 👍
the people who think the backrooms movie sucked bc it was “too confusing” obviously missed the whole point of the movie
(backrooms movie spoiler warning)
i totally get why ppl feel like clark’s mental state deteriorated waaaay too fast in the third act to make sense, but also. i kinda get it. bro just watched his 2 employees get killed by a monstrous version of himself, encountered a bunch of other not-quite-human entities, has been dealing with declining mental health for a while now for multiple reasons, found a whole other dimension in his shop’s basement, AND his therapist is not good at her job. id lose it pretty quick too tbh
Clark is so relatable I love him!!! Look at him he could do no wrong!... 👀
The way she sprained her ankle so she could have a limp like clark?
The way she ended up in an asylum, eyes empty, like her mom?
Ohhhh mary...
I don't get how people hate the backrooms movie or consider it "buns" but personally I LOVEDD IT
It's like describing a dog to someone who has never seen one, and asking them to draw it.
Don’t you go back in that room sonion
something new lol
some quick art of mr. clark backrooms. i am endlessly fascinated by his progression as a character.
