Last time, I presented you some concept arts I did for the Pokémon Clover fan sequel that never came out. Well I also did a bunch of sprites for the game, including my beloved Granquack & Yabbadad family as well as Roadkill & Roadking. There's also a bunch of Fakemons imagined by other people from the team I did the sprites for : an Ankha Zone parody, and Ice/Bug types evolution line, and a slushies pandas family!

And let's not forget their shinies right below.

Have you ever heard of Pokémon Clover? It's basically the most controversial Pokémon fangame ever made, and in my opinion one of the most hilarious ones available online. Imagine a whole game made-in-4Chan filled with depraved creatures referencing so many taboo topics and Internet memes, constantly jumping from one dirty joke to another without any interruption : that's Pokémon Clover for you. And I participated once to a fan project for a softer sequel, that didn't went super far in development but that was one hell of a funny ride to join in as a designer. Here are the concept arts I did back then, the ones written in bold & italic are personal ideas I had :

Granquack & Yabbadad (Fighting/Flying) : cavemen birds evolution line referencing the bootleg game "7 Grand Dad".

Roadkill & Roadking (Ghost) : completely inspired by joke fakemons from an artist named Deathbulge we wanted to pay tribute to.

Scraggle & Kecringore : weird evolution line combining a lot of "forgotten characters" memes together : Kekroc, one of the beta Pokémons from Green and Red, Graggle from the Simpsons, and Scripulous Fingore from Mario 64.

Ladystress & Bondagical (Plant/Fairy) : An evolution line parodying the trope of damsels in distress as well as the associated kink.

Exposed Nerve evolution line (Normal/Ghost) : a family of cryptids also referencing Binding of Isaac and an obscure meme named "Long Horse".

Crate Monster : I honestly don't remember what this one's refering, someone has simply been asking me a make a concept art from an idea they had.

Regional Mawile (Dark/Fairy) : Reference to the character named Six from "Little Nightmares" games serie.

Remember my MHA OCs Morton and Kaome? Well I mentioned in their posts a fanfic I'm writing with my best pal, which is sort of a spin-off taking place in the manga canon focusing on new characters we imagined together. So, along my OCs and hers, we also created together a whole class of heroic students, and I'm quite excited to present you the character sheets I did for that project.

Let's start with Hiyuma, Kaome's best friend. I don't think I need to say which games they got inspired by, it must be pretty obvious haha. This is definitely one of the students we have the most fun writing about, making them super friendly and excentric with a bit of mystery around their background. Their quirk, named DETERMINATION, boosts their physical strengths the more they get determined to reach their goal, which would lead to a lot of shenanigans and pretty intense action scenes. In short, definitely one of the stars of the fanfic!

Here's the first sketch I did of their hero outfit. Yep, they had a sword they hold as a knife at first, but that felt unnecessary in the end. Their fighting skills are already more than enough to look fabulously badass against villains. >:3

Finally, Donkey Kong Bananza is ouuut! To celebrate its Release Day, I prepared this comic inspired by a lovely scene from Wreck-it Ralph. Cause let's be real, DK and Pauline are totally the Nintendo versions of Ralph and Vanellope! X3

Also, there HAS to be a movie inspired by the game in preparation. Like come on, these trailers felt so much like Disney Movies, I wanna see these two buddies on the big screen now! It apparently as been sort of confirmed by Universal Pictures a few days ago, but let's wait and see for an official announcement~. :D

N Club : Sakuirrel & Sakurious

MEMBER-26 : Sakuirrel & Sakurious (FR : Sakureuil & Sakurieux) (It/They/Them)

TRIVIAS :

- Both are bellboys in a fancy hotel complex of Partyland, a kingdom were Party Games are regularly organized. Not much is known about their origins or specie, but rumors say they originate from the dream of an old tinkerer.

- Despite being two separate entities able to do their own things, they seem to share the same connected spirit, leading many to believe they're actually part of a hive mind. Sakuirrel seems to be the most intuitive and Sakurious the most logical. That's why they're almost always working together, even though they appear to quarell with each other sometimes.

- They have their own language made of ticking noises that only them are able to speak and understand. For everyone else, their body language do most of the job.

Here comes a new member of the N Club! Unless it's actually new members? Hard to tell~. Anyway, these fellows litterally come from a dream I had a few weeks ago, where I somehow imagined them as obscure secret playable characters for Mario Party 7. Weirdly enough, the dream stuck to me when I woke up, and I immediately opened my laptop and started to draw. These above are the sketches I made that morning.

I still have no much ideas of what their goals and story actually are, or even if they have specific powers or not. Heck, I'm not sure myself why they have punctuation marks for faces or why I named them after puns on Sakura. But after a long consideration and also an upcoming new character's creation, I ultimately decided to add them to the club, under the same number. I mean, unlike Litchi and Berry who have their own identities, the Sakus form a duo we actually hardly imagine separated from each other, kinda like the Ice Climbers or most of the identical twins characters in pop culture. So yup, they're in together, as some sort of secondary mascots who help around and work on the club logistics. If you have any suggestions about what their lore would be, feel free to share, I would love to hear it! :D

Some props I also made for our Game Jam Project with the little alien. I'm weirdly so glad about how the galaxy hologram looked like in the end, it was part of the main hints the players had to observe to solve one of the demo's puzzles! I also made that silly cover of a "Glorbian for Dummies" book up for fun, which had no use in the game except decorating the puzzle room's desk. The guy kinda looks like Octodad now lol.

During my 3D course, I participated to a Game Jam organized by my school requiring us to make a 3D Point'n Click demo in 48 hours. In the team I was in, I was the charadesigner, 3D modeler and animator of the main character : a baby alien in a mini-UFO named Twinkle. Story is : it accidentally finds itself teleported inside an unkown spaceship and has to resolve puzzles to explore it and find its way back home.

The idea of an alien with an UFO instead of a lower body inspired me a lot ; I think I created P3ter during the same period actually, so that influenced their design too. Many concept arts of bodies and shapes were done that my team enjoyed, and they voted for the small and cute silhouette with the glass helmet and the robot arms. It looks like a Kirby character, I'm quite proud of that one~. :3
