Otto: I keep hearing humans say "moneky brain", I don't get it
Gibson: it's a phrase humans use to express a thought process, reaction or desire that they consider more primal. Speaking as if there's still part of them retained from their monkey ancestors. Although the phrase itself does not necessarily carry negative connotation, in fact sometimes it's meant as a subversive way to express unhappiness with the artificially of the modern world, implying the "monkey brain" mentality brings more authentic joy and compassion, I still find it's use offensive to some extent. After all, they're separating any actions they deem beneath their advanced "human brain" and attributing it to some imagined "monkey brain", that's meant to be impulsive <looks at Sparx>, easily excited <looks at Sparx>, and often times disruptive to any kind of intellectual activity <looks at Sparx again>.... You know I'm starting to think the term might carry some validity
