I know ducktales critical is a dead tag but I always hated this disgusting character. His behavior towards louis border on sexual harassment and I hate how louie's discomfort is always played as a joke. Ah ah louie is tied up and getting vaguely sexual threats, louie is terrified at the prospect of interacting with doofus, louie flinch every time doofus get too close, louie is paralyzed as doofus suggestively lick him ISN'T THAT HILARIOUS??!!

I explain that often times women and girls are excluded from stories in favor of a predominantly male cast because the author doesn’t value female narrative contributions nor considers them worthy of character development in their own rights independent of the men, so the result isn’t uplifting male relationships with romantic intentions, but simply sexist writing in its most basic form.

They assure me it’s a good story.
