My name's Odie, I'm a young adult, I'm a stupid U.S citizen who wants to live anywhere else please. This is my Venture Brothers side blog, if you couldn't tell.
Mostly, this blog is screenshots! I took a lot, but I'm always open to requests and such! I tag the screenshots maybe excessively, but i try to tag everyone who shows up, so if you're looking for someone specific try searching them up.
Big Pete White fan, the earliest posts on this blog are Pete White exclusive screenshots i think. Also love The Monarch Crew like that even needs to be said, I loved the New York Arc, I love Hunter Gathers and Shoreleave.

SHORELEAVE!!!!!!!! the later seasons still aren't on Netflix, and I've gotta be honest, I really miss Shoreleave and Hunter and also the new york arc. BLUE MORPHO???? that was some GOOD vbros. And netflix knows it's good, because look what they use as the FUCKING thumbnail for the show.

Weird thing to note at the start, I wished they had these diagonal(?) sink options in the sims 4. Sure you can make a free standing sink diagonal, but that's attached to a counter top? Forget about it man...
Billy is reading a magazine titled "Super Scientific American" or maybe that's like, the article title. Either way, it's about J.J. and the back cover has a dinosaur on it. (also, they should store TP literally anywhere else, why the hell would you guys put it up so high? I know white is tall, but like, who wants to be reaching UP for toilet paper? what exactly is their relationship here? I can't remember, Rose has to know where her kid is atm, he's on TV and was just involved in a scandal. He says later he talked to the other quizboys, managers get 15 percent. So, was White always his manager, or just later when he's taking him to the underground quizzes? Because Rose also mentions later that she hasn't seen Billy in years, and says something to the affect of "Worried I wouldn't approve of his lifestyle choices" because he moved in with White. She doesn't seem to know/recognize White, not from being on TV or being Billy's "manager", she only seems to know him as "that weird pale guy my son lives with and is possibly dating".
:/ his whole ass dressing room is painted pink. IDK why he lets shorleave get under his skin about it later, he's clearly always liked pink, why doesn't he just own that???? pisses me off some times.

Hey folks, just an fyi, a good time to plant Milkweed (the plant monarch butterfly caterpillars eat) is in the fall, September-November is good, the seeds will last through the winter and sprout in the spring (iirc I think the seeds actually benefit from frost or something?). If you live near their migration path it's really helpful to grow some milkweed and other flowers so they can rest and eat and continue their flight. Sorry it's not specifically vbros related, just wanted to mention that nows a good time to plant, if you want to see irl monarch butterflies around ur house. And they remember where they were, so odds are they'll return over the years.
The other day I was talking about Richard Impossible with my dad, and I was going on and on about I can never remember his name, I always mix it up with the guy he's based on, yadda yadda, and he looked so confused, and I didn't know why because i thought it made sense to mix them up.
And only JUST NOW. AM I REALIZING THAT EVEN THOUGH I KNOW HE'S BASED OFF OF MR. FANTASTIC,

And like, yeah, i do mix up Impossible vs. Incredible, but I CAN'T believe I was saying with FULL confidence that they based a venture bros character off of the fucking Incredibles. I knew what I meant but in my head a bunch of wires got crossed, and I completely blanked on what the fuck the Fantastic Four were called.
Vbros is moving to netflix, so in case you haven't heard and maybe Vbros dissapeared from Max for you, don't sweat it, it's still streaming, just you know, some where else. BUT, the movie is staying on Max I think. So, Venture Bros and Metalocalypse movies? Still on Max ✅.
The shows themselves? Gone ❌
I also reccomend buying physical copies, so you dont end up like the MTL fandom did, because any show/movie can be removed from streaming at ANY time, seemingly w/o any warning! That's why I'm grateful for my hoarder dad who buys DVDs almost compulsively. (He bought me and my sister Metalocalypse on discs the DAY after we finished watching it)

The Blue Morpho issue, also Wide Wale, who I always thought was a semi-underrated villain, I really liked him, but that's cause i love mob/gangster stuff so I'm all about the fancy parties and suits and stuff. And also Rocko is cool too, i like em both, and wish they had a little more time to do their thing, I think we lost a lot of good potential with the NYC characters, they just diddn't get their time to fully shine, you know? Copycat was a stand out, and I really like The Brown Widow, obviously Sirena and Wide Whale, they were pretty fucking awesome too.
