Now that I think about it, Jason and Kyle fighting together as a duo offers plenty of opportunities for pretty random entertainment.

Not only because of their banter, but also because they’re both interested in pop culture - just different aspects of it.

For example, there are bound to be situations from time to time when Jay loses his weapons, or at least the one that’s most useful at given moment. Kyle can make him a new one, hura!, so he’ll definitely help out, BUT no one can expect him to simply recreate exactly what Jay was holding.

However he can certainly draw inspiration from his favorite pop culture references. And Jason, as “a Bat” will surely know how to use them anyway. OR will learn how to quickly enough. Most of them are based on existing types of weapons or are simply rarer variants of them. For example, shurikens. Or a bazooka.

Some mecha suits, however, would work better if he knew their original sources.

So I imagine that after a few tries and fights, one that berly ended good enought, Jay just starts catching up on Kyle’s favorite pop culture references.

In revenge, he simply shared a few of his favourites with Kyle. To “improve” their banter.

If he is to fight like an anime heroine, then Kyle might as well read a few classics, too.

i have a little fanfic request ! i hope its okay but maybe a one shot or like a five chapter series about Jason crushing on Kyle so hard, like hes obsessed with Kyle but he doesn’t know how to confess because Kyle is just so good. Jason asks his brother, Roy, Artemist, Rose, Kory etc… I always see fics in which Kyle is one obsessed but i never see one in which Jason is<3

It took waaaay longer then I meant for it to and I hope you enjoy how I think about Jason pinning because well. He's a tough on to write pining for me because while he is an emotional person he struggles in expression and he will always expression him self for better or worst. So which is why I went in a funny sort of "Girls' Monthly Nozaki-kun" inspired direction.
