          with a bit of acrobatic show because – d.va was a show off – the           girl hopped, hands planting firmly on the cannon && legs curling under           the open air before gracefully lowering her weight && letting her feet           touch the floor. reaching for her oil rag, she mopped up the dirt &&           grease painted on her cheek to try && look presentable, even if she           ended up smearing it.

          “oh, everyone has an aesthetic! it’s just like.. a bunch of things you like.”            she nattered on, approaching arianna && beaming. trying not to let            the obvious fluttering in her stomach show through her smile.

           “dark blue, huh?” a thoughtful hum. “i can totally request my next mech            to come in navy blue. hyun – he’s uh, one of the pilots in the MEKA too            – will be pissed ‘cause that’s his colour, but. i have to exercise my right           as a junior officer sometimes.”

“But it’s about pleasing your aesthetic isn’t it? Not mine.  No no, such dark colors do not suit such a bright smile.” A  light chuckle passes the taller woman’s lips as she reaches  forwards to wipe the bit of grime off the other’s cheek lightly.

“Certainly you have more power than you think. You are a  very influential woman Ms. Song.”

                her eyes looked at the overly cute detail, face warming somewhat                 as it didn’t escape her notice of what the other implied. dismissing                 with a laugh, hana dropped the sponge in the bucket that hung losely                 on the muzzle of the cannon.

                “y-you think so.. ? thank you! my mech’s a little messy with all these                  plugs..” she gestured to the various brands printed onto the pink                  machine. “.. but i think it adds to the aesthetic. what would you put on it                  if given the choice?”

“Hm... Hard to say. I don’t particularly have an ‘aesthetic’.”

Arms cross over her broad chest as she raises up to her full height once more, eyes closed in thought as she balances her weight on one leg, jutting her hip out a bit. Eyes open once again to look at the smaller girl,  smile tugging at  full lips.

“I don’t know about decoration but... I would like my  mech to be a dark blue color. Perhaps a bit darker than the blue on your plug suit.”

          the sponge stopped on the hood of her mech, eyes glancing down           to see the strong woman, a soft ‘ah!’ escaping her. hana was sat           upon one of the fusion cannon arms && she waved from above.

          “thank you!! we get to customise our mechs the way we see fit,            so most of us – the mech pilots – used our gaming tags && channel            logos.”

“Is that so?” 

Boot clad feet move the soldier forwards to closer inspect the machine, a hand moved upwards to cup her chin in thought as she kneels to admire  a particularly cute decal.

“So this is your logo? How very fitting for you.”
