I think I need to have a night out with you before I become a dad, it sounds like a hell of a time. No, not caught up, but I hear things. I need to live in my Barchie bubble.

What’s your go-to take out spot? Yeah, it’s not as fancy as you’d imagine and it’s really quite a marvelous thing, I’ve got a friend who has it and I swear, I could stay all day looking at the meat spinning and eating little bits at a time. Ugh, I really want a kebab now, fuck soggy chips. 

Definitely Miko Sushi in Vancouver, can’t go wrong there. It does sound intriguing, I think I would do that too. Soggy chips don’t sound appetizing at all, but I could go for a kebab too.

True, cause you never know how hard someone else is going to pinch you. Oh yeah, like the feeding and burping and a few other things. I’m doing pretty great. I’ve mostly just been relaxing and having a great time.

Yes, exactly. Right, that will be a little different compared to dogs, but I think I can handle it. That’s good, relaxing is always nice, I think I take it for granted sometimes.

I’d suggest pinching yourself every time so you know for sure that it’s real, but that’d just be painful. I think there are some slight differences between being a dog dad and a dad to a human, but you got this.

Ha, it might be, though pinching yourself isn’t as painful as someone else pinching you, so it could work. There are some slight differences that I’m sure I’ll find out soon, but thank you for the confidence! How are you?

Yes, they are! I’m glad I’m a dog dad first and have been for years. It’s definitely good practice, though I think caring for a human is much different. I just hope I don’t screw it up.

I think it depends on what kind of dog you have but ours are pretty chill most of the time so they’re just happy to hang out and do basically nothing whereas I feel like Charlie is just constantly on the go and getting into everything.

That’s true, it does depend on the kind and their personalities. It’s crazy how they can all differ or be similar. Even my two dogs are so different, one is so shy and timid and the other is pretty crazy, so I think I’m prepared either way. Hopefully.

I’m so sorry to disappoint, I’m lazy and go to the same usual spots for take out. Wow, really? That sounds fancy and something I’d like to try. I’m into the whole grill thing.

Exactly, I’m hoping I’m prepared well in that case. You’re keeping me calm by agreeing with me. Not yet, but hopefully soon. I’m not sure if LA wants to know ahead of time, but I’m hoping she does.
