Wild and Scenic Rogue River, self-contained SUP descent. Ever since puting a dry bag on my paddle board to run rivers I have been dreaming about the Rogue. Well, finally ran it this week with a kayak buddy, Zach FISCHER. At 1700cfs, the river is perfect for paddle boarding for the experienced river SUP rider.

I have been coaching experienced paddle boarders to run whitewater. It's been a rewarding experience for me and it's a blast to pass on what I have learned. Before you stand up on a board in whitewater, make sure you understand the power and dangers of a river, know how to swim strong, and always wear protective equipment like a helmet, PFD, shoes and leg guards. Mckenzie River paddle boarding. Known more as a flyfishing and rafting destination, whitewater sup on the McKenzie is definitely something I'm excited about. These shots were from Frizzell to Finn Rock. Photos by Paul Clark of SupPaul
