Support My Application to the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia

Hello my name is Stephanie Tannis and I am applying to the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia Congregation - Nashville Dominicans for short. The application process involves many components including psychological testing not covered by OHIP. Your donation will go towards the psychological assessment which is a 4 day live in assessment at the Southdown Clinic north of Toronto and travel costs. Any additional money raised will go toward fees for getting school transcripts and other necessary documents such as official birth certificate copies. Your generous donation is appreciated but more so is your prayers as they strengthen and encourage me along each step of the application. My Goal is $1500: 1,400 for the cost of the assessment and the rest for travel costs, postage, documents and other fees. Where the money’s going

Here's the breakdown of my application expenses that you guys helped with. I didn’t realize everything else was still much more money than just the psychological test when I started the application so I really can't thank you all enough for your generosity. I’m blessed to have so much support through this. It’s reassurance through the difficult times that this is a legitimate vocation and a necessary one for the life of Christ’s Church.

Application Submitted!

April 22nd to 26th I did my psych evaluation. It was very intensive and all I can say is thank you, everyone, for your prayers and support. It was a tough 5 days of prayer, writing, filling out scantron bubbles, interviews, and physical testing but its over and I’m one step closer! 

On April 27th I submitted my application (save university transcripts-will do that when grades are released) to the convent. So it’s no longer in my hands! I’m praying God’s Will be done and that I can accept the outcome.
