Blinking a few times more, Reisi finally recognized a blonde boy kneeling in front of him. The aura confused him, it was a dangerous one, but familiar. Like a dangerous person was right in front of him, but there where no evil intends. “Who are you?”

Pushing his confusion to the side for the moment, Reisi tried to listened to the words the younger was saying. Trying to take his hand away from the still bleeding wound, the Blue King acted in vain. Pain was just too heavy to act calm.

"You don't have to fear me or anythin', I'm just someone that wants to help." Atsui grinned half-heartedly to try and reassure the man, then tried to grasp the drastic situation at hand.

Looking at the wound, it was still possible for the bullet to continue on its fired journey if a slight change in direction was made. It can go up and puncture through bones, destroy even more veins that may cause the Blue King to bleed to death. No movement should be made. That meant the bullet had to be destroyed while still in the body, that was the only thing he could deduce. Even a skilled doctor would have a hard time removing a still moving bullet. Worried eyes looked up at the other pair of oculars before him.

"Sir, I would need you to trust me on this one. Y're a King, I'm pretty sure you are the only one that can endure this kind of pain, trust me on this, a'ight?"

Hoinu stared down at him, lips pursed. He tried to open them and speak, but no words came out audible. His cold hand slowly clenched the others. No, he doesn’t want him to die either. But even he tried to save him, he can’t see the point. Atsui….Atsui will…. He will die either way! No doctor can cure this….

Suddenly the officer felt his soul fall to the freezing pit of hell. How hopeless he was.

Icy blue orbs strayed down away from the dying red.

“…Then d-don’t… P-Please… Don’t…”

Atsui continued to shed hot tears but his body was immobile. The fear of death was slowly ebbing him away than the death itself. It was just human nature to fear death after all. He just felt like he wasted his time, he didn't do anything that was even worth for one person to remember that he had lived, that he had existed.

But why did things suddenly become black? He can't even see the face of the person whom he wanted to stay with. He didn't want to leave him.

"I-I can't see anymore... I-I stopped hearing things clearly a-and I can't feel anything anymore... I'm really scared..."

A sudden hurt on his right side made him twitch in pain. Normally, the Blue King wasn’t affected by slight wounds, his aura healing him faster than other people and his calm attitude made it possible to bear pain better than normal people.

But something seemed off and as his hand made it’s way to the bleeding place on his hip, he knew that it wasn’t anything like a simple wound. He was shot. A noise dampening must have been used since he neither heard the actual shoot nor did he sense the person emitting it.

Falling down on his knees, the Blue King felt the world suddenly spinning around in front of him. No. He wouldn’t loose his consciousness right now. Not while a suspicious person was walking towards him, his gaze to blurred to make out who exactly was walking towards him.

That said suspicious person approached the fallen King in alarm, scrambling to kneel in front of the Blue. Crimson eyes blinked and looked around frantically as he raised both of his hands as if in surrender. Atsui meant no harm to the other, he just wanted to help him out of his serious predicament.

The blonde male had only been going home from god knows where when he heard an earsplitting shot of a heavy duty weapon. His ears followed the echoes of the shot and he was lead here, not expecting to feel a rather conflicting aura against his own fiery one as a future King himself.

"Mister Blue King, lemme help you! I-It looks like a rather serious wound that needs to be treated..." Atsui didn't even think of hiding the fact that he knew that this man was the Blue King. The other person might have already sensed his own aura.

Was he really that stupid? No one could possibly be weirder than her, not in this town. He probably couldn’t even understand her predicament, or just how much everything he had done for her thus far really meant to her. Humans, honestly… “You’re not weird to me…”

Sliding her arms around him again, Eri pressed herself close to the older teenager, eyes closing as she nuzzled into his neck. He was warm, comforting… And made her feel things that she had thought were long since gone from her emotional spectrum. “To me… Atsui-kun is just… Atsui-kun. There’s no one better…”

"Shucks... Eri-chan should stop saying such cute things. Though, I don't mind it, it's just too cute..." He laughed as he pulled her so that no space was between them at all. It was awhile since he had felt this special, especially to someone.
