Sure Dr. Al-Hashimi and Dr. Robinavitch are long names, but I don’t think the four syllables is why they’ve both chosen nicknames that hide their ethnicities. I’m pretty sure Dr. Al and Dr. Robby are also chosen for the safety of not having to navigate prejudice constantly. And I love the choice to have both of these characters use each other’s full last name.
