I’m used to media where when a betrayal happens it casts every previous friendly moment in the shadow of that future betrayal, every close conversation and word of encouragement becomes tinged with the fact they were keeping secrets, this was the plan from the start, you can see in their eyes now, but with Eva Stratt it’s different. He probably grew up around healthcare workers - i know plenty of my mums coworkers and she’s only been back in healthcare for a decade in comparison to Terry Wyle’s multiple decades long career.
He’s gonna know more about health care shit than the average person and be more affected by what it does to healthcare workers bc he will see the harm it does. Tbh, i don't love the dynamic between Cassian and Nesta in ACoFaS, but that's because there is such an imbalance of power between Cassian and Nesta. The criteria for the boyfriends (and non binary partners) of Luca Haas to be included are as follows:
Not a named character from the Game Changers universe (i.e. Young, LaPointe, Cliff, Hollanov, or even Theo the Mascot Guy);
They must interact in the fic at least once OR be a central point of discussion/plot and not be a one off mention;

Just the other day, i was thinking of how beautiful of a gift Luca Haas is to us as a fandom. And idk if Rachel Reid even knows what a gift she gave us in writing him.
Because she created him intending to give him a book of his own. She created side character with all of the charm and appeal and preparation of becoming a romantic lead. And then, she ended up doing an extremely brave thing by scrapping the planned book. Because that's how writing goes, sometimes it just doesn't pan out, and the best writers are brave enough to know when to publish, when to rewrite, and when to scrap.
And from this unplanned series of events, Rachel accidentally gave us the perfect side character to obsess over and write fics for and create OCs and head canons and AUs around... And I hope Rachel knows how much we love and appreciate this little accidental gift.
I just want to take a moment to really appreciate just how loud and strong Noah’s advocacy for Health care workers is.
He is truly helping to bring change and make sure their voices are heard.
And that is something so incredibly special and also so incredibly important.
I know there is a lot of hate out there, and it’s hard to see the port in the storm.
But I just hope Noah knows how loved he is and how much of a positive impact he has had on so many lives, myself included.
