Love that how you interact with Solas in Veilguard is reflected in something as "minor" as the physical exchange of the lyrium dagger.
Loïc was very matter-of-fact with him most of the game. Though he tended toward anger in the clip below because, at that point, he was just done.
During her interactions with Solas, Senka leaned more into trading quips while sprinkling in understanding and a strange sense of admiration for his cunning.
Their handoffs were quite different.
It's neat.
Loïc straight up snatches it and, glaring, doesn't touch Solas's hand. He knows there really isn't a choice here.
It's fascinating that in frame, it's more focused on Loïc. There is much less of Solas's body in the scene. Just his forearm and the dagger.
Boo-bear is fed the fuck up. Finally.
In the handoff with Senka, you see more of Solas in frame. Not to mention that the scene is a bit longer and the exchange slower.
She ain't as pissed, but you can tell her thoughts are going a mile a minute: What's his angle?
Both slowed by 50%.
Something, something, reflection of spirit nature, something.
