Josephine Baker

 Josephine Baker was the most famous African american dancer in french history. She made a difference for the way blacks were seen. She even helped out with many positions in Europe and spied. 

  She was as well into acting in the 30s, and was a civl rights activist in changing the way blacks were treated. She supported Martin Luther King i have a dream speech. 

  Josephine also adopted many children and called them her rainbow tribe from all different countries around the world.

Esther

 Esther, was the most famous Persian queen, who broke the barriers for her people. Using her faith and knowledge she protected her people and her uncle from death. She was an important woman in the bible as well, making her a well-known person and a protector for her husband.

Dido Belle

Dido Belle, was the well-known mix-race aristocrat in english history. He father was English, her mother was african, though very little is known about her.  She was a heiress and mainly hung around her cousin. The most famous painting of her and her cousin is displayed everywhere. Dido eventually married and had three children. Unfortunately she passed at 43, but her life still sometimes remains a mystery.

Frida Kahlo

Frida Kahlo was one of the most popular painters, from Mexico. She persuaded how she felt internally with paintings with symbolic meanings. 

    Frida suffered from a disease from birth, which effected the way she saw things around her. Frida’s famous, and most recognizable painting the two Frida’s, the painting embodied two of herself. 

   Though Frida went through tough situations she still managed to become one of the most successful Mexican female artist of all time.

Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut another famous queen of Egypt, and was the first female Pharaoh to reign the Egyptian dynasty. Her reigning was a sucessful and peaceful reign that made her a legend. 

Hatshepsut was originally, a minor kings wife. Hat’s husband was Thutmose the ii. Appointed as king at 10 years old, he made many sucessful decisions, as well as some mistakes.

Hatshepsut eventually took the throne and made many excellent decisions while Thutmose fought in wars with many other countries.

She reigned for contiuous years until her death around the age 50 years old. There are still many questions about her death, Example: obesity. 

Being the first female pharaoh, was risky especially the society that they lived in back then.

Cleopatra

Cleopatra is one of the most overrated queens in history, but is also one of the most dominant Queens to reign the Egyptian throne. 

She was believed to be the descendent of the previous king and conqueror Alexander the great. 

Cleopatra was queen at 18 years old and ruled Egypt for 21 years, during her reign she overrided her brother, ptolemy, and murdered her sister Arsinoe. 

She, tried her best to make allies with Rome, to make Egypt exceptional again, but her spouse Mark Anthony cause a lot of ruckus with Rome. This unfortunate event caused Cleo her down fall.

Empress Wu

Empress Wu china famous empress, made made many drastic changes in Chinese culture and religion. 

Though, the question still remains unanswered, was this empress really evil as much as much as people said she was? Did the Chinese people at the time have much estascy about her years of ruling. 

Even though she switched to buddhism, and sacraficed a whole lot to get to where she is right now, she still had some benefits ruling.

Queens of history

The world of kings and queens has been told throughout time and history. There were powerful queens that ruled for many years. Empress Wu, Cleopatra Hatshepsut, Marie Theresa, etc. The world evolved around these women who brought prosperity for their countries. Without these specific women leaders some of these countries would’nt be where they are.
