You know, I feel like we didn't talk about Danny's shitty luck with partners/coworkers before Steve, enough. Like, dude had to testify against his training officer, who later killed his friend, the US Marshall, and kidnapped his daughter. He watched his partner in Jersey, Grace's namesake, get murdered on 9/11. Then he lost his HPD partner, Meka, and had to investigate his murder.

Like, honestly, no wonder he was filled with so much anxiety around Steve. Poor guy🥺

one of the many moments that would make people think they are fucking. just imagine you call commander mcgarrett to ask him to the scene of the crime with his partner implied because they are always together anyway and he bossily shushes someone next to him who then proceeds to call him 'animal', and then he says 'we are on the way' implying it was his partner he was intimately saying 'shhh' to. the entire police force of o'ahu must think steve is 'ooh animal' in bed 😏
