Welcome to my chaotic little corner of the internet where I aggressively overreact to mostly sherlock and co podcast episodes like it’s my full-time job (it’s not, but emotionally? it is). Or reblog alll kinds of stuff I fancy.

This is a reaction blog, which basically means I listen to an episode and immediately lose my sanity over it in writing. Plot twists? I will spiral. Suspicious characters? I will side-eye them like I personally know their secrets. Emotional scenes? I’m either tearing up or yelling at my screen like the characters can hear me and fix their life choices. Expect unfiltered thoughts, dramatic breakdowns, questionable theories that somehow make sense at 2am, and a lot of “WHAT IN THE SHITTING HELL WAS THAT??” energy. And most probably be like this. ⬇️

Sometimes I'll just throw in some of my spiraling on random things as I like manyyy things like I dunno shoot from the hip, roll from the hip, harry potter, Marvel, avengers, Hamilton musical, songs, sherlock holmes obviously

I admit I'm gay because I'm attracted to male fiction characters *(although I think that I could be pansexual, but I know that happens MORE often with men).

I'm also aroace and demisexual *(last, from the only time I've ever been in love with someone).

Although I haven't come out the closet in real life... I'm non-binary and use they/it/he *(I'm also comfortable with masculine terms! :)

I think something that appealed to me very early into watch sfth was (as I said in my response to soupy) their friendship.

Like I can watch any comedy show and probably laugh a similar amount I do to when I watch shoot from the hip but it isn't about that.

I love that they're funny, they know just when to stop getting serious, they are amazing at making jokes I never would've even thought would fit in a specific moment. I love that they do D&D, that they branch out and don't just stick to one thing.

But I love that they're friends. I love that you can see it in the way they interact; that Sam remembers Tom's bad back, that Tom always makes sure that his joke wasn't too far - even with just a look between him and another, that you can feel how comfortable they are around eachother. That when one laughs it's like a domino affect and suddenly they're all laughing over something that wasn't even that funny - and somehow that makes it funnier.

It's a beautiful thing. I have many close friends in my life and I'm so so grateful and lucky to have them, and watching these guys reminds me of that. It makes me so happy to see how much they've grown in just six years, that they've gotten successful from just being themselves. Although I've only been watching them for five days I already feel attached to them and their characters because they are so charismatic and knowable. They feel so real. (I know that's because they are but often people who themselves out there make themselves unknowable, which is fair but I much prefer it this way)

You can see how proud they are of their work and eachother, and it spills into every little interaction. I love it so much

AJ With AJ, it was a close call (cannon or blowpipe); I went for the blowpipe because it’s so wonderfully unorthodox, random and surprising.

LUKE The 19th-century revolver is the smallest and most practical weapon featured here. It goes perfectly with Luke’s Wild West beard look. Fast, elegant and extremely effective :)

Everyone always says that Watson is the sun and Sherlock is the moon, but they are WRONG and here is why -

To start with the most obvious reason - Watson is, as Sherlock puts it, a conductor of light. He presents Sherlock Holmes to the world like an artist would a painting - if Watson was an illusrator he'd put a picture of Sherlock on every page of his books - and he basically already does in his descriptions.

Watson is also just very moon coded in general - his colours feel like a more warmish grey, and he has that relaxed old man vibe to him from time to time. Watsons character feels tied to how he cares for people and interacts with them, and I personally believe that to be a very moon-like quality.

Sherlock is also very sun coded - he shines brightly, and everyone notices him, but people can't truly see him with their bare eyes, he's misunderstood by many and can seem quite jarring. Sherlock accels in many areas, and people offen put him in a higher possision of importance compared to the moon. (But just like the moon, Watson is never fully forgotten in day-to-day conversation).

Sherlock cannot help but be the centre of attention due to his brightness.

People make the mistake of thinking sun = whoever is more bubbly and confident and moon = the shy, slightly grumpy one. And as much as I would ague this isn't always the case, I would like to mention that by that standard Sherlock still feels more sun-like and Watson still feels more moon-like.

People often forget that Sherlock isn't just a thinking mechine, he can be cheeky, theatrical, and Watson can often doubt his abilities and hide himself behind Sherlock's genius.

But either way you look at it - Sherlock amd Watson cannot truely shine to their full potential without each other.
