I wonder how biology can explain the physical pain you feel in your chest when all you want to do is be with someone.

Leaving me was okay. People leave me all the time, Iâm used to it. What hurts like hell is when you made me feel so damn special yesterday, and then make me feel so unwanted today.
(via ileu)
I wanted to say something to you To ask you How you could get over me so easily? When Iâve still fallen so deeply. Then I stand back and realise that I didnât want to know how at all but ⊠Could we start over? Forget all the pain? And just be able to talk again.

Maybe weâll meet again, when we are slightly older and our minds less hectic, and Iâll be right for you and youâll be right for me. But right now, I am chaos to your thoughts and you are poison to my heart.

Rowan vs. Tamlin
People keep comparing Rowan to Tamlin and say that he is abusive, so letâs take a look at some of the stuff Tamlin the Tool did and compare it to Rowan: (Note: I know that Rowan was a bit of a jerk in HoF, but that is part of his character arc and he is a completely different person by the end of the book. That being said letâs look at his actions in QoS which are the most relevant since that is when he and Aelin start to have a romantic relationship)
Did Rowan ever force Aelin to stay inside because it wasnât safe? Did Rowan ever demean Aelinâs ability to make her own choices? Did Rowan ever tell Aelin what to do, (outside of training in HoF when you know, he was doing his job?) Did he ever ignore/ refuse to talk about BOTH her problems and his? Did Rowan ever decide that Aelin couldnât possibly make her own decisions and therefore he had every right to ignore them? Did Rowan ever ignore Aelin when she had a nightmare? Did Rowan ever betray his entire people because he thought that Aelin had to be under a spell because she made a decision he didnât like? Did Rowan ever force Aelin to wear clothes she didnât like/ feel comfortable in? Did Rowan ever make Aelin feel like she wasnât as good as him?
Also Iâd like to point out that Aelin is the one who makes pretty much every decision in QoS, most of the time everyone, including Rowan, donât even know what sheâs planning until she needs their help or its all said and done, nevermind controlling her.
Oh and all the crap about him being a teritorial fae, so is Aedion, but more importantly SJM even says that Aelin is just as much of a dominant teritorial fae.
Lastly I want to make the point that there was an abusive and controlling character in QoS. His name is Arobynn. And guess who is the one person who makes Aelin feel comfortable and safe and confidant even in the presence of the worldâs greatest douchbag? Who is the one who rubbed the scented oil of another man on himself just to help Aelin feel better about having to wear it too? Oh thatâs right Rowan.Â
I could keep going but this is already really longâŠ
iâve seen so much sexism lately over a court of mist and fury and the decisions sarah j maas made with the book and i gotta let yâall know some thingsâespecially since 99% of the people who are acting like children who got their toys stolen didnât even read the book so here we go.

The Dragon only had his one tower, and not a single man-at-arms, or even a servant, besides the one girl he took. He didnât have to keep an army: the service he owed the king was his own labor, his magic. He had to go to court sometimes, to renew his oath of loyalty, and I suppose the king could have called him to war, but for the most part his duty was to stay here and watch the Wood, and protect the kingdom from its malice.

I highly recommend, if you are on the fence about the Cassandra Clare case. You read this court document.
The fact that you can put each character and plot point next to each other and they are the exact same. Says something. I didnât think they were going to have much of a case. But when itâs this similar. Down to a rebellious sister whose cooking is mocked. I have no sympathy for CC and I will no longer be supporting her books/shows/endeavors.

Holy shit itâs literally word for word:
Thereâs literally 15 pages that list every single similarity! Itâs insane! Iâm surprised Clare didnât get sued earlier. Can someone whoâs read both series confirm that these comparisons are accurate though??
Cause I saw someone asking in the reblogs and someone else claiming that the Dark-Hunter series was published after The Mortal InstrumentsâŠ.
The first Dark-Hunter book was published in 2002. Whereas City of Bones, the first in the Mortal Instruments, was first published in 2007. And before people continue to defend Clare, remember that she has a history of plagarism in her fanworks.
Also, thereâs this from the initial report of the lawsuit:
On Friday, Kenyon sued Cassandra Clare aka Judith Rumelt aka Judith Lewis, claiming her âShadowhunterâ series initially used Kenyonâs trademark âdarkhunter.â   After Kenyon demanded that Clare remove the word âdarkhunterâ from her work, Clare used the term âshadowhunterâ for her protagonists instead, according to the lawsuit. The word âhunterâ was also removed from the book title.   Clareâs book, âThe Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,â was published in 2007. Since then, Clare has expanded her use of the term âshadowhunterâ despite assurances that she would not, according to Kenyon.
You can find the initial report of the lawsuit here.
Iâve read the first three books (but theyâve been on my reread list for a while) in the series and I can confirm from my recollections that having read through that list? The similarities are pretty fucking damning.
Also, for those who want further reading on the subject of this lawsuit, you can read more here. That contains these two points:
12. In 2006, PLAINTIFF was alerted by some of her distressed fans of the potential publication by CLARE of a work that incorporated PLAINTIFFâs Dark-Hunter Marks. PLAINTIFF demanded that the term âdarkhunterâ and the Dark-Hunter Marks be removed from CLAREâs work. CLARE removed the term âdarkhunterâ and the Dark-Hunter Marks from her work, substituting instead the term âshadowhuntersâ for her protagonist, but removing any reference to âhunterâ (whether âshadowâ or âdarkâ) from the title; the book was published in 2007 as âThe Mortal Instruments, City of Bones.â Despite PLAINTIFFâs continuing protests and continuous assurances from CLARE and CLAREâs publisher that she/they would not expand the use of the âshadowhuntersâ term or adopt it as a trademark, CLARE has persisted over time in expanding her use of the term âshadowhuntersâ from a mere description of her protagonists, first to a tag line on the cover of her works and eventually to a complete rebranding of her works so as to be confusingly similar to the Dark Hunter Series. CLAREâs works are now listed on CLAREâs website, âshadowhunters.comâ under the category of âCassandra Clareâs Shadowhuntersâ and include the series of âMortal Instrumentsâ novels along with âThe Infernal Devices,â âThe Dark Artifices,â âTales from the Shadowhunter Academy,â âThe Bane Chronicles,â âThe Last Hours,â and âThe Shadowhunterâs Codexâ, each a âShadowhunter Bookâ (and collectively, the âShadowhunter Seriesâ).
13. The Dark-Hunter Series and the Shadowhunter Series are so similar that CLAREâS own publisher mistakenly printed 100,000 copies of a Shadowhunter Book referencing the DarkHunter Mark on the cover. Upon written demand by PLAINTIFF, CLAREâs publisher destroyed tens of thousands of the Shadowhunter Book that contained PLAINTIFFâs Dark-Hunter Mark on its cover. Despite the destruction of tens of thousands of copies of this Shadowhunter Book, thousands of Shadowhunter Books including the Dark Hunter Marks on the cover have now been sold and substantial commercial confusion has resulted.Â
Bolding is mine for emphasis.
And for those who want more, hereâs the fanlore page for Cassandra Clare.
cassandra clare and things you probably don't know but should
Okay, everyone, gather around. Itâs time for some schooling on the Harry Potter Fandom and some of the greatest fandom wank in its history (and considering that this is the HP fandom, thatâs saying something). With the release of the City of Bones trailer, thereâs been a whole lot of The Mortal Instruments on my dash, and consequently, Cassandra Clare. Now a bit of a disclaimer, Iâm not trying to change anyoneâs opinion on Clareâs work. If you like TMI or any of her other series, then thatâs perfectly fine, and it in no way makes you a bad person or wrong. But with the recent deletion of a lot of the Cassandra Claire fandom wank pages, I feel like before people give her another dime, they need to be informed or refreshed on all the crap she has pulled as a BNF in the HP fandom.
(Edit: I updated a few of the links. Some are still broken, but that really canât be helped at this point. But I think I fixed some of the more important ones. Shoutout to myfatherwillhearaboutthisblog for the help.)

Aelin Galathynius and Rowan Whitethorn â Throne of Glass OTPs: RowaelinÂ
She flung herself on the male, crashing into him hard enough that anyone else might have gone rocking back into the stone wall.Â
But the male grabbed her to him, his massive arms wrapping around her tightly and lifting her up. Nesryn made to approach, but Aedion stopped her with a hand on her arm.
Aelin was laughing as she cried, and the male was just holding her, his hooded head buried in her neck. As if he were breathing her in.
âWho is that?â Nesryn asked.Â
Aedion smiled. âRowan.âÂ
Chaol: You make me look bad.
Rowan: You looked bad before I even met you.
