It’s like after a few swigs of the drink he starts to lose it. Suddenly he’s back in the hell he so desperately tried escaping, so he acts on instinct. He starts shoving people to the side, trying to duck his way out of the hellish environment. When hearing the footsteps running behind him, he only lets out an animal-like  growl before turning to pin the ‘’enemy’’ to the wall. ‘’St–stay the fuck– away from me.’’

                    ❛  you  ?  cook  ?  you  planning  on  us  all  living  to  see  tomorrow  ?  ❜  typical banter filled tone filled the air, one that was roughly an octave higher than holden’s typical one, and he found the tension release from his body slightly as he spoke to his twin. jas, for all her concern and fretting for him, had been one of the few to treat him largely as normal. settling back into life with her and asher was easy, a meal actually sounded considerably enjoyable, but it only stopped the demons for a moment.  ❛  is  mom  invited  ?  ❜  he scrunched up his nose though mainly in jest; he adored his mother, a goddamn mommy’s boy through and through, but she’d been on him like a hawk since his return,  ❛  you  know  she  made  me  piss  with  the  door  open  first  day  back  ?  ❜

           ❛    yeah, well, i thought my cookery skills we’re pretty on point until i found out you guys had all been passing ‘round a bag underneath the table to hide the food in while you pretend to eat it. way to destroy my dreams of becoming the next gordon ramsey.    ❜   she playfully remarked, the young mechanic already savouring each second she got to spend with her dear twin brother, his presence bringing her much comfort and solace from just knowing she was no longer alone amidst all the chaos. his absence had effected her deeply, and losing him had felt like losing an organ. especially because it had always been the two of them against the world.   ❛   & don’t worry, figured you needed a break from mom so it’s just gonna be me, you, & ash. thought maybe we could play video games like old times.   ❜   though she couldn’t blame their mother for being so overly paranoid ; jasmine herself also fearing that if she were to close her eyes for a mere second, he’d disappear.

meet jasmine ; the mechanic that can fix anything but herself.

she’s a southsider through & through , having grown up in rosewick all her life & therefore p much knows everyone ? at least on the southside

bc of this she’s v street-wise . when younger , she’d be climbing fences , has been chased by police , nd also has been arrested a couple times too , mostly for just silly teenage antics . her mums the towns detective , so it was easy for her to acquire the ‘ get out of jail free card ‘ so to speak .

on the subject of her mother working for the law , her and aiden would always get involved in all her cases , basically playing detectives themselves & hunting down criminals , stakeouts , gathering evidence , etc . which again probs got them into trouble a few times if they were caught by her parents or whoever !

her connection to aiden was that they had known eachother their whole lives, & were eachothers first friendship bracelet , first kiss , first time , first everything . they were practically inseparable when together , however despite having feelings for one another never became officially a thing ; and this led jasmine to believe he was perhaps ashamed of her being a southsider.

at the age of seventeen she fell pregnant w asher , aiden of course being the father so she was thrown into motherhood quite young . that little boy is p much her world nd she’d do anything to protect him . having her family around helped a lot too . 

she had to somewhat settle down w her wild behaviour bc of this , but y’know , this is jas we’re talking abt nd trouble is her middle name

personality wise , there’s no airs & graces w her . she’ll tell you how it is and keeps it 100% real . she can be a sarcastic lil shit that makes jokes out of dire situations . she was probs the class freakin clown at school ngl 

she’s a major tomboy !!! i mean she has four brothers so she grew up playing football ( or soccer as y’all like to call it ) w them etc , isn’t afraid to get down and dirty , probs had bruises covering her legs from playing in the mud , and ofc never misses a game of football which she watches w her dad

she’s def a daddy’s girl , but is also her mothers daugher

she’s tried almost every drug in her lifetime , but doesn’t really participate in that stuff anymore bc of asher . though she does smoke weed , probs one thing she’ll never give up .

you’ll find her in her families mechanic workshop belting out the chorus to some 90′s song . she loves 90′s music ( especially dance classics like robin s show me or gala freed from desire ) . actually tbh she loves anything to do w the 90′s . the clothes , the music , she wishes she had been a teen / young adult in that time so could’ve experienced the nightlife at it’s prime , & ofc the lack of technology , everyone living in the moment nd no social media . a dream to her

her secret is that she killed anarchy’s former leader after he held her hostage , and coerced a bunch of guys into sexually assaulting her while he sat there and filmed the whole thing . it was what he got off on & when she hunted him down & killed him , she found multiple tapes of other girls he had done this to that perhaps weren’t lucky enough to escape . she burned them all .

she’s fearless ; almost too fearless that it makes her very reckless , landing her in some dangerous situations . she’s also known to go from 0 to a 100 real quick , so she’s v temperamental and unpredictable at times 

she’s got bipolar disorder , self-diagnosed . although she has been prescribed medication that she takes to help stabilize her mood , but ever since what happened to her she hasn’t been taking them ; meaning you may see her manic or having a depressive episode at one point .

her last memory of aiden is the night before his birthday . he had told her to pack hers and ashers stuff , and that he was taking them away . he also told her he was in love w her which ?? tbh for her to hear him say those words meant everything , it wasn’t something they really vocalized to one another despite it being so obvious to those around them .

when the news hit her of aidens death , she was a mess . she had also stopped taking her meds around this time too , and her family were the ones to pick up the pieces . 

she still to this day wears the necklace aiden gave her on her sixteenth birthday , and her bedstories to asher consist of her talking abt the adventures her and aiden would go on

a few bonus fun facts abt her ; she loves anything to do w space nd nasa , high believer in aliens , nd can ramble on abt conspiracy theories for hours on end !!

DEVLIN SANTOS / TWENTY-EIGHT / LEADER OF ROSES / SOUTHSIDER.

okay so he’s the leader of the crimson roses ( obvi ) & took over the gang when aiden died & is usually the one that trains up the roses of the group since he’s an ex-boxer & is highly trained in martial arts 

he’s also a bouncer for one of the roughest bars in rosewick since nobody would dare go up against devlin given his reputation ( there’s rumours flying about that he killed somebody with just one punch & they call him the hands of rock , also the reason his street name is rocky . well , that and the fact he’s an amazing boxer & the rocky movies y’know )

he’s a southpaw , meaning hes left handed & his left hand is his best hand when it comes to fighting & this makes him even more dangerous . he also has a massive temper , he’s like the incredible hulk lmao & will not hesitate to knock somebody out if they piss him off .

basically frank castle personality wise ngl ?? 

when he was younger he rlly wanted to be a fireman , but after the death of his mother he had changed a lot , & it was also conveniently around the same time aiden was establishing the crimson roses , so he got on board w that as well as enlisting in the army . 

his boxing career also took off when he was fresh out of high school , & it wasn’t long everyone was gathered round rooting for his glory 

he has a four y/o daughter named rose ( after his mother ) , the mother of his child being the first & only girl he had ever truly loved . she was his childhood sweetheart & soulmate , the one girl that made him want to become a better man ---- but then she was taken from him , and he blamed her murder on himself & the involvement he had w gangs , violence & other criminal activities that take place in the south ; assuming somebody had killed her to get to him . he was going to ask her to marry him before she died .

her death affected him very deeply . she was the light at the end of a very dark tunnel for him , & losing her reminded him of the grief he had gone through when he lost his mother . to him , it feels like anything good in his life gets taken from him ; like he doesn’t deserve to be loved .

he’s cold & bitter now & hardly opens up to anyone , he thinks he doesnt deserve good in his life bc of what happened & honestly he’s just really ruthless & comes across emotionless & void even though deep down he cares a lot ?? like especially about his family , he’d do literally do anything for his blood family & is extremely protective over his little sisters & his twin brother , probably the only people he will open up to these days .

he participates in an underground fight club ever since his boxing career went downhill after domi’s death . he loves boxing / fighting because it’s the only time he comes close to feeling something now ( other than anger that is )

his secret is that he was in prison for eight months after being framed for the murder of one of his close friends in the military . he lied to everyone back home , telling them he was away on military duties & that they were keeping him longer , etc . he’s now back in rosewick after ‘a’ granted him his freedom , now making him under his control ( aka part of the a team )

i dont rlly know how far he’s gonna go w all this a business ? i mean he obvi doesnt wanna go back to prison bc he wants to be there for his little girl but ? devlin aint nobody’s bitch . he’ll probs tell a to piss off at some point nd end up w some dire consequences bc of it . he does NOT know who else is apart of the a team , so he has no idea his twin brother is also working for a . a wants to toy w devlin , he wants to use him as a weapon but knows devlin will be a tricky one to get on board completely .

also gonna say his daughter goes to stay w his twin brother when he’s away on military business bc at least then she wont miss him too much , seeing as they share the same face fjgfkdsjf ( haven’t spoken to cait abt this but luv me )

he got his two lil sisters a military dog to protect them when he’s not around , it only goes by dutch commands ofc so he also taught them the commands too

basically he’s extremely protective over those he cares abt . is only soft around a certain few ( his sisters nd his dead gf :/ )

another one of his secrets is that he’s suffering from ptsd from the army

speaking of his army experience ! possible connection being the girlfriend of the guy he was framed to have murdered ? so now that he’s back in rosewick , he’s gonna have to break the news to her that he’s dead

AVELINA MAEVE LANCASTER / SEVENTEEN / HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT / NORTHSIDER.

meet rosewick’s queen b , future prom queen , & the enigmatic youngest sibling of the lancaster household .

due to her wealthy upbringing she’s always used to getting what she wants , & always needs to be at the top .

this is why she’s rosewick highs head cheerleader & p much the head bitch that will shoot anyone down that tries to even level with her .

but she’s also not a complete bitch ?? like she can actually be really sweet & would legit do anything for her friends & family . she’s just a bitch most of the time to keep up her ‘ queen ’ status .

plus , she’s the mayors daughter & her mother runs a famous worldwide clothing brand , which ofc has it’s perks . she’s practically the trendsetter at school , & she knows most her ‘ friends ’ only use her bc of her rich parents ; ultimately making her a very lonely girl . 

she’s also extremely intelligent , though she hides this most of the time ; mostly bc people don’t bother to see past her for just her captivating beauty

she has a photographic memory , so school can actually be somewhat of a breeze for her at times . she can be highly manipulative , & is good at reading people . she knows how to get what she wants when her mind is set on it , & always ends up succeeding . 

i’ve actually taken inspo from iconic queen b’s like audrey horne , brooke maddox , blair waldorf, & lydia martin . 

she has a fear of water / drowning which stems from the time she almost drowned to death in their family pool . her parents were having some party or event and were too busy mingling w their rich friends to notice her drowning to her death ; aiden was the one to jump in and save her , & looked after her after that by wrapping her up warm and making her a hot choco just the way she likes it , which was comforting given the fact her parents had only scolded her & were more concerned abt her ‘ making a scene ‘.

aiden dying had effected her very deeply , and she partially blames her father for his death after overhearing an argument that went on between them the morning of his birthday , which ended with a very riled up aiden storming from the house ; and he was never seen or heard from again .

the two of them had been very close when he was alive , he was one of the few that saw the good side of her ?? like he was such a good older brother to her & he may have been a bit overly protective but she loved him regardless

one of her secrets is that she slept w one of her fathers close associates , which ofc was partly due to her wanting to get back at her dad for driving aiden away . also bc she has a thing for older men ; they’re more mature & know how to look after her . the guys at her local high school just don’t seem to do it for her ig

her second secret is that she’s an exotic dancer for a stripclub named ‘ heaven ‘ down the south . she found out abt the club after going through aiden’s things , & found a possible link to his death w this place . maybe he owed the owner money or smth ? maybe they’ve got some dodgy things going on behind the scenes there ? a link to the northside perhaps , where all the rich men go ? idk i’m still brainstorming this part .

basically just like aiden she’s got a whole other life going on at the southside ; and she’s actually enjoying being an exotic dancer , where she can show off her more promiscuous side ; sort of rebelling in a sense bc in her fathers eyes , she’s still this innocence little girl .

she plans to help all the woman there once she’s done uncovering all the secrets of her dead brother . she wants to know more abt his involvement w the south nd the gangs etc , bc she’s obviously gonna hear some stories if she’s hanging around that neck of the woods ! plus , she’s determined to find out who killed him .

she’s got many , many layers to her . like shrek . no but seriously the way she interacts w ur character rlly depends on the relationship they have ? it’s hard to knock down her walls but once you do , you’ll see she’s a very intelligent , kind young woman .

all together there’s more than meets the eye w her & soon enough her ‘ perfect ‘ facade will eventually break , it’s inevitable .
