the paranoia kicks in the second she hears the word idol said out loud. immediately, she starts shushing the other, frantically looking around to see if anyone’s onto them. “shh, shh! don’t-” she points an accusatory finger. “say the i word, okay? i don’t want anyone to know anything.” it’s a little too late for that. she’s already been caught, and now, it seems to be in her best interest to work with the other. she gives it a thought before nodding her head, now eager to get this show on the road. “promise?” she double-checks. “gorgeous! we have a deal.” she instantly feels a bit better now that she knows she has at least one ally. she follows the girl, stick in her hand, eyes trying to get a proper look at the surroundings. “okay, okay, so- i’ve already checked around that tree over there,” she uses the stick to point. “so.. let’s go to the right?” she can’t be sure at this point. “follow that trail..”
it was nice to already start forming alliances, and with her, it was nice, alice was definitely putting herself in the right court and she could feel it. Selma had the right idea in mind, and being able to coast on her coattails would get her far enough. “perfect” she lets out with a smirk “so that was your first idea?” she asked with a smile “get immunity?” she was almost whispering, they had at least a couple yards between anyone that could over hear them but she didnt want to blow it. She let her already blistered feet lead her up the trail “so what do you think the first challenge will be like?” she inquired “I think I will do great as a puzzlemaster..or a key person? I dont usually fold under pressure?” she was rambling, but she also knew how easily men wrote off women talking in such a manner, she would have hoped it would have sounded like insignificant chit chat as her eyes scanned the trees and rocks
