My last message of 2014:
It's time to bid adieu to 2014 and time for 2015 to bring in 365 new days to play with! Here's to a happy, healthy and success filled 2015! Happy New Year everyone!
Well, the first day of 2015 was spent well in the company of family and an almost five hour lunch with a great friend! Great company, laughs and food!
So much to do and enjoy this year!!!

Time to start blogging again, I let so much time lapse since my last post! 2015 is almost upon us, continuing to make changes but my goal is to make this a very strong year for me. Time to chase some dreams that have been put on hold.

Well, I haven't posted in about half a month. Back at it now. The weight has been around 126 to 128 pounds.
Yesterday I decided to start drinking more smoothies. I made my first one and it was quite thick and I used banana, mixed berries, mango, Greek yogurt and a couple of tbsp. of water. Yummy!
Don't know if they smoothie idea will be good or bad for me but I am leaning towards good. I think I can use the smoothies as a filler and cut out wheat again.
I have also bought some cottage cheese to use in place of yogurt just to change up the taste slightly. I noticed that there was a slight taste of cloves from the time cloves were ground up in my Magic Bullet and the taste was actually pretty yummy. Has me thinking about a chai flavoured smoothie!
My brother suggested veggie smoothies and I told him I would definitely move on to that.

I am coming off of two days of headaches. Starting to feel better and when out to get something iron rich to eat. Some red meat and lots of greens. Continuing to load up on water. The fresh air felt nice. Lots of rain in Vancouver!
Tomorrow will be a hot water with chai mixture day.

The day started off well. I ran some lines at a U13 soccer match early afternoon and when I say I ran, I mean I ran. Was layered because I was expecting it to be much colder than it was out so I worked up a pretty good sweat.
Late afternoon dim sum and a home cooked meal for dinner. Just loading up with Emergen C now.
Plans for tomorrow, which I will share tomorrow!

A busy work day, not time for much today. Massage appointment (two week since the last appointment and feeling pretty good). Family got back into town so busy.

The liquid diet thing, well, it lasted until 1:40 pm ish! Low calorie intake today with the morning starting off with a coffee, 3 cups of green tea and butter pecan flavored Boost (yes, butter pecan flavor!). No coconut water today.
Lunch consisted of a couple pieces from a California roll and smoked salmon roll with miso soup. I probably ate less than a roll.
Dinner was two very thin and small slices of pepperoni pizza (very little toppings, oh God, how I miss the extra cheese days!).
Had to police a situation on the field again today. We have a coach from a neighboring soccer club that just refuses to leave the field when their time has expired and my club is paying for the permit. This has been going on for almost two seasons. His counterparts seem to exit the field according to the policy.
Anyways, the upside of the above fiasco, I got a good 10-15 minutes of running in. Feeling pretty good right now and craving a cheese pizza!

Just lost three hours this evening locating a team photo to prepare id cards for a team that lost theirs. Should have just left them to fend for themselves. Just to be a bad ass, I refuse to write out the cards. No time to cook dinner (planned was mushroom risotto with veggies on the side but will have to wait till tomorrow). Ordered a thin crust pizza and with a Caeser salad for dinner.
The joints felt pretty good after yesterday's run so tomorrow I add stairs.
I started drinking Boost in the mornings (today is day 2). I am not a breakfast eater so I thought I would try a Boost in the morning after my morning coffee and then an hour or so later, I followed up with coconut water.
Chicken pot pie for lunch, but wasn't really hungry for it.
Tomorrow aiming for a liquid breakfast and lunch. Let's see how it goes.

Managed to get some running in today. Just a few minutes, let's see how the joints feel tomorrow and if all is good then I can up the minutes for the next run.
I haven't been feeling that great and think I need to eat when I am not feeling good or even hungry. I might try a liquid diet for part of the day tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes.

1.8 pounds heavier. Time to get going and on track. Need to find time to exercise and it looks like eating wheat = weight gain for me.

Dim sum with the family, mmmmmm mmmmmmm awesome! getting myself to fill up on water now. Lunch is coleslaw with chicken and of course drizzled with chilli pepper infused olive oil.
I had a flat tire today and when the mechanic checked the tires, he discovered a nail in another tire. One tire they were able to patch up and the other needs to be replaced so thank God my spare is an actual tire. Took up a bit of time this afternoon. The BCAA mechanic was also great, especially with his recommendation for quick action.
Did some chores around the house and some running on the spot. Going to have a relaxing bath and just wind down. Not going to stress about the weigh in on Monday.

Low calorie day today. For brunch an omelette and then dinner was a stir fry. Lately I have been drizzling chilli pepper infused olive oil on dinner and today was no different!
Lots of water, no exercise and looking forward to tomorrow, Saturday!
Dim Sum with my parents and brother and then all do to get some exercise in. Will need to ensure I increase my water intake over the weekend.
Aside from the dim sum, I am thinking most meals this weekend will be homemade soups.
Let's see how it goes, weigh in day is Monday!

Today was just not a good day for exercise. I was left cleaning up someone else's mess this evening that left me computer and telephone bound. My brother kept checking in for the walk but it just didn't work out. It is now 11:02 PM and have just finished up.
Today is my Mom and Dad's wedding anniversary and Mom made a wonderful roast chicken dinner with some great side dishes. She took extra care and made sure we had a ton of vegetables (mostly my favorite ones!). Yes, I think I did over eat.
I guess I should back up to breakfast, Greek yogurt (yummy!!!) and for lunch chicken pot pie with a Caesar salad. I added a ton of tabasco sauce to the chicken pot pie, oh my I really do love this dish!
Tons of water and extra vitamin C.
I tried running on the spot while I worked on the matters this evening but that just got in the way.
I feel like I let myself down today.

Today was a very good day with eating, water consumption and exercise. Go team me!
Morning started off with my standard cup of coffee followed by some Greek yogurt. I actually was not feeling hungry and had to force my self to have some. Tons of water with my mom's Chai mixture.
Lunch was a California roll (6 pieces) with miso soup and dinner had a bread plate not even full (again not feeling very hungry) with some meatballs, pan fried zucchini, bok choy and asparagus and finishing off with a spanakopita. Dinner and the spanakopita was drizzled with chilli pepper infused extra virgin olive oil (I use this for just about every meal I am home for).
Exercise consisted of some walking and using of stairs. My brother is going to help me out and he knows my work and soccer schedule leaves me with only me time very late so he said he would go for walks with me. Helps, especially in the dark and I of course took him up on his kind offer.

Did today go off as planned, oh heck no! Actually, I did manage to sleep in until close to 8 am but the whole walking to the appointment bit not at all! Realized I had a box of shorts to be given to me and no way to walk home in the rain with it made me drive.
Dim Sum for lunch today and was full for the rest of the day. Dinner ended up being small slices of pizza from my favorite Roma pizzeria. Smoked salmon with a green salad pizza, yummy!
My friend surprised me with a chocolate muffin so dessert. Couldn't finish the muffin, the sugar got me! Ended the evening with a nice hot chocolate.
So, you can see the exercise portion did not go well, at least I am consistent. Water take was horrible as well.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.
