back down the pit
so be it
Hang me to dry as my heart mimics the harsh barren winds that so ever leave me cold and shivering. Analogical of the same cold, shivering connotation that haunts my persona and never seems to leave my side. Will it be forever that I feel cold and empty? Worthless of me to ask with forever being an inconceivable measurement of time to my unexposed consciousness. Where will the answers reside for this self-induced void of melancholy I seem to spiral down, despite my neck being tied to the tips of the fingers that holds these answers. Will I hang or will I break through? Who knows.
