Ride Design Masterpost 2: Electric Boogaloo

2026 NOTE: I am going though some of these with the redesign hammer, so what you see MIGHT not be the final product. Any oddities will be noted as I go.

I'm pretty sure most people would be afraid of a submerged roller coaster, regardless of the presence or absence of sushi. The things which make roller coasters safe also make plunging into a body of water for a prolonged period dangerous.

So I don't think an underwater sushi-coaster is really exploiting her weaknesses. Unless the idea is that most people could eat their way out?

finally I have decided to sorta try and go per park on these things. Not entirely sure why I started the park wide redesigns with Six Flags Torment Nexus Adventure but ya know

#the jersey devil coaster happened because nitro-#“- who I nicknamed ”nikki“ was being stalked by the ACTUAL jersey devil and then tried to confront the jersey devil who then got chased-#into the park and then the jersey devil accidentally merged essences with the forming spirit of the “nj single rail” and as it sorta-#- operates like an NHP in Lancer would JD ended up getting sorta...“tamed” to a degree? And thats why theres a jersey devil coaster in the-#same area as Nitro“ or ”Medusa ended up getting taken over by Bizzaro for several years before her own consciousness was able to climb out-#- of bizzaro hell and thats why shes got all the burn marks“ or ”ka and toro are (were rip) dating but ka-#killed rolling thunder who was kinda this grandpa figure to most of the park let alone toro who also saw it happened but hes sorta gotta-#keep quiet abt it and still has one of RT's arms in good condition inspired by L'Via L'Viaquez by the mars volta #ignore how this is like possibly the third time ive showed off el toro's design lmfao #also during design I have been able to think of interesting lore tidbits like smth smth catholic trauma #Theres also the chance regarding “totally not phantom spire” that I make it “toro tries to bring ka back to life and it comes out wrong”#but we'll just have to see #Also not sure abt how I wanna go abt rides based on franchises.
