today’s work: finished my essays, did some final room shopping, organized & recycled old papers from last year, & stressed endlessly about college!

at least I have this passion planner and THANK GOD because it is so nice to break everything down, especially when so much is happening. 

all I have left today is to hopefully buy my textbooks and see a movie with my brother!

now its just pack pack pack until thursday!

rainy day’s work, college prep edition: finishing first drafts of essays for Between the World and Me and consulting the book for quotes, two chapters of chemistry review and notes, and reading We Were Eight Years in Power for extra discussion fuel!!

also doing dorm decoration and academic planner shopping (passion planner this year which I’m super excited about!)

today’s work: more essay-writing, more chemistry review/revision, but a new addition of Ta-Nehisi’s more recent book. I’ve finish part one of eight, taking any notes that I can add into my essays to really make them solid. I also tried to do some French listening practice using RFi francais facile podcast, but I was a little too distracted to really absorb what they were saying. Maybe I should try some Yann Barthes instead ;)

tomorrow: likely more of the same! moving on to chapter 5 in my chem review :)

tonight’s work(feat. a look into my dashboard):

- drafting my first draft for my college essays (real deal academia!)

- keeping up my french skills via this website (this evening -- as you can see -- I practiced some skills that are harder for me; y and en, as well as relative pronouns)

tomorrow I will return to chemistry, which I find exciting! I hit a mental roadblock with orbitals, but I can’t wait to give it another shot!

All that’s left tonight is re-reading Order of the Phoenix :)

today’s work: notes from an old AP Chemistry study book to refresh for my chemistry class this semester (also: me trying to make neat, organized notes. I’ll get there!!)

also on deck: drafting my essays about Between the World and Me, going to the library to get another one of Ta-Nehisi’s books so that I am ready for our group discussions once I get to school.

today’s work: transferring written notes from Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Between the World and Me into my notes document. 

I have divided my notes according to the essay prompts given for summer work, so that when I write my essays, I have everything I need, right where I need it!

I started drafting the essays yesterday, but I couldn’t get far without all of my notes. I will finish drafting them tomorrow!

Welcome to my Studyblr!

Hello!

My name is Sarah, and I am one month away from beginning my first term of university! I am an environmental sciences major, hence my name referencing sustainability, but I am also keen to maintain a sustainable, yet productive studying routine throughout the school year. I am a Slytherin through and through (despite my Hermione icon -- but seriously, she’s the ultimate studying inspiration!) and as such I have many ambitions and aspirations, like getting particular internships, finding success at school, and paving the way to an illustrious and fulfilling career. As the summer winds down, I will post what work I’m doing and how I’m preparing for the new year, and as school begins, I will update on my studying progress, what’s working and what isn’t, and most importantly maintaining my love for education and motivation to work hard. 

Other important things to know about me: I am a total bookworm, an avid runner/health nut, and a total musical nerd! (It’s true -- I am a nerd about many things, but musicals especially!) 

I cannot wait to begin this wonderful journey!
