I've been thinking about something in regards to Caine and Abstraction.

Considering every "player" has a file somewhere in that console when Kinger was trying to put Caine to sleep. I think Abstraction could be related to the "Minor" changes Caine would inflict on the crew on adventures.

I believe that everytime he does it, he's altering their code, and the more he alters their code, the less of themselves they become. With how often Jax had his mind messed with, along with everything else he was struggling with, the code of his "mind files" had a risk of corrupting.

Another thing that I feel indicates this is the scene In Episode 7, after it's revealed it was all a stunt, and Jax rips into Caine about his lies Caine says "If I did anything more, trust me, it would not end well" Kinger says "Scratch... The first Abstraction..." this leads me to believe Caine isn't lying. It wouldn't be good, because when he goes too far in messing with their minds, they abstract.
