re: your art feeling stiff you may have heard this before but genuinely it's what i've found to help - do studies, specifically learn about the line of action (the tool not the site) and how to do sketches of figures. use the timer on the slideshow functions on sites like line-of-action [cw for full frontal nudity tho if you need to know about that] and practice capturing figures with the simple forms as the base (side note that on line-of-action Alex is a great model who's on the chubby side) when i took actual graded figure studies classes the time we spent doing warm ups with the models having just 1min for each pose really was great aside from motion in figures, for motion in compositions, you wanna get your handle on perspective solid, and you wanna remember basic things like the rule of 3s and guiding the viewer's eye oh! and doing multiple thumbnails that are the most basic shapes before you commit to a piece really helps and is something i also have to remember to keep doing lol i really hope this helps, and practice makes perfect! don't be afraid to do garbage studies and to trace things if they don't make sense in your brain! it's not stealing if you're not posting it and it hurts no one! good luck have fun!!

Thank you so much for the advice, these are all pretty much things I used to practice when I was drawing more, I think my regression just got so bad, the thought of starting with fundamentals got overwhelming, but I should 100% revisit these practices. I think art block and me failing to be consistent really did a number on me, but I will start doing these, I think, as I really do miss creating !!! ^_^
