When ninalphashyyy first reblogged that drawing of mine and I saw the comment posted below it, to be honest, I was really surprised.
It was the first time someone had added a humorous comment to a drawing Iād taken seriously.
However, I thought that perhaps the fact it was used in a comedy-style context meant you actually liked my art (though that might be incredibly presumptuous of meā¦!). It also taught me that art can be viewed from so many different perspectivesā¦ and it motivated me to draw even better and capture more expressive emotions in my scenes!
Personally, rather than being hurt by that comment, I thought, āAh, I see.ā (Thatās just my take, though! Iām sure some people might be hurt by it š¢)
Everyone is free to think and feel whatever they want when looking at a drawing! Iām truly happy that people view my art from so many different perspectives!
That said, while that drawing might have been something people found entertaining, I also drew it while praying and hoping that Lucifer could find true happiness and smile from the bottom of his heart with the one he loves.
If youād like, from now on, when you see a drawing someone has created, Iād be happyāas an artistāif you could try to sense what the artist was thinking while creating it before leaving a comment! (This isnāt a lecture!! If I made it seem that way, Iām sorry š)
