Chapter 1: The Second Father
"Child, do not practice yourself in slothful manners and help your pops with today's supper!"
A man of humanoid figure, a half man and half wolf, calling out to Yan outside the cave. He is an outcast paladin of his clan, who cannot be a singular man or a beast.
You could call him a wolf-taur, from the head growing pairs of wolf ears where one is cut short, to his abdomen is of man, and down are his four paws for legs to his tail is of a wolf. His hair and fur is of similar blue to Yan, yet if place near the vast sky in blue, his hair blends perfectly to its color.
He called himself Nicklaus, his beloved partner whom Yan knows by as their "Pops" called him Klaus.
(Note from visual: Klaus's body leaves a few cracks shaped scars, where sometimes auras emitting through them when his magic is cast)
Klaus is now Yan's current parent, their second father who took them in 60 years ago. Klaus was in his 140 years of age when he and his partner found Yan. As of now, he has been responsible to Yan's source of knowledge, and one of the parents who nurture them throughout the years.
"Quickly child! Your Pops will be back soon, i don't wish to handle with his crusty attitude when he's hungry."
"Yes, Father!" The little devilkin stretches their body like a felyne waking up as they run to the man-wolf.
"Ah! Earth Basilisk! They're so big and plump!" Yan's jumps excitedly, "Are we having roast basilisk with berries for tonights meal, father?"
"Calm now, child" said Klaus "more dish of your favorite will be made if you help me quickly."
"Yes father" Yan took the rest of the goods which Klaus has farmed and hunted, there are 6 packs of Basilisk, a bundle of herbs and vegetables, with apples, berries and grapes with odd blue colors imitating starry night.
They casts Mage Hand to carry all goods at once as they run to Klaus to prepare the meal of the day.
"Now, shall we start with some pie?"
