She hopes to at least remember something after this.

❁— Suzie Q was perfectly fine with not socializing much, but once kick came to shove, she was... lonely. The only person she actually had made a friend of (or... she thinks?) was JoJo, and even then the details were... well, complicated. Basically, she needed a friend. Anybody, at this point. 

She wasn't picky at all, really. There's just... something weird about a certain person here. She had this nagging feeling... the same with how she felt about JoJo. She decided this would be the perfect target, for some roundabout reason.  

Suzie Q plastered on a smile and walked over to the much taller man (almost JoJo's size, at that,) and tipped her head to the side, blurting out the question that she had meant to save for later in the conversation.

"Do I know you from somewhere?"

She jumped in surprise from her own words, shaking her hands wildly in front of her face "A-Ah, wait, that's not what I meant to say!" Her hands stopped for a moment as she thought to herself about her last statement. "Well... it was, but... Gah!" Plastering on the same smile from before, she tried again and hoped the other wouldn't think anything about it. 

"My name's Suzie Q!" She held out her hand for the other to shake it, "And yours is..?"

"C’mon! Don’t be such a crybaby! Y’don’t want me t’make fun o’ya, do ya?! Haha, crybaby Suzie!"

Come on, Joseph, don’t be an asshole. No matter how hard it may be, please don’t be an asshole in this delicate situation. He drew in a deep breath, leaning back as he took her hand, giving it a firm shake.

"Yeah, I know ya, and yer right, it ain’t fair. It ain’t fair t’me, t’you, t’any of us. But y’know what they say, life ain’t fair and ya gotta make th’best of it. This shitty school gave us some lemons, so let’s make some goddamn lemonade, yeah?" 

… Better? Maybe. He sure as hell didn’t know, he sucked at this. A tight squeeze of her hand, and he tilted his head. There was a thought, girls like Suzie Q tended to be in danger in this school. Just to be safe…

"… Is there anyone buggin’ ya here, Suzie Q? Anyone makin’ ya uncomfortable?"

❁— She carefully wiped her tears with her free hand, trying to calm her breathing to a steady rate before responding to the other man. 

"U-Um..." She thought back to the... well, few encounters she's had that bothered her more than just a little. "I don't... know any of their names. ...It's fine, though..." She laughs half-heatedly, "I need to stop being such a... c-crybaby anyways, right?"

Opening her eyes to the other again, she attempts at a smile before wiping away the last of her tears. "Please don't worry about it."

❁— She shouldn't be upset over somebody she hasn't known for more than a week, but...

She knew that wasn't the case.

For him it wasn't, anyways.

❁— It was quiet. It was much too quiet, despite the running fan and her quiet yet shaky breathing. Her eyes break open, calmly, quietly. Much quieter than the rest of the room. 

She blinks, trying to register the situation, before her head pounds. She closes her eyes again with a groan, louder than the running fan now. Her heart pounds against her ears, confirming what shouldn't be.

She sits up, still keeping her eyes closed tightly. It brings a sudden wave of nausea, but she is used to it at this point. She swallows down the pain, opening her eyes once again to a blue curtain.

Suzie Q sits there for a while. Long enough to try to piece together what had happened. She wasn't sure of much, but she was sure of one thing.

She had died.

She had died, painfully at that. Her carefully painted fingernails, now overgrown (and chipping from a nervous habit), reached up towards her throat. She had been suffocated. She takes in a shaky breath, lets it out.

It hurts, but they are not broken.

It still hurts, though.

And she allows them to burn as she cries to herself, helplessly.

"I’m sorry. I’m so sorry."

"Woman! I don’t give a shit how sorry ya are, it don’t change th’fact that you fuckin’ suck at yer job! How the hell did Lisa Lisa not fire you?!"

"Lookit, my undies are all pink!! I can’t wear pink undies, that shit’s fer girls!! I get that you tried t’get shit done faster, but why th’fuck did ya wash our clothes together, ya dumbass?!”

God. He was awful at this. After surrounding himself with a bunch of brash males for the past few months, interaction with a girl as delicate as Suzie Q became a little… difficult for him. Even so, he would try, especially as he noticed that she was crying.

"… Oi, oi… yer givin’ me a run fer my money here, y’know that?"

He sighed, lowering himself to one knee so that he could at least attempt to get a little closer to her level. After all, he was such a big guy, and she was such a little girl! "… Didn’t I say ya didn’t have to be sorry fer nothin’? It ain’t yer fault you don’t remember. C’mon… let’s just start over, yeah? Quit yer cryin’, that’s rude t’do in front o’strangers!"

With a deep breath, he would extend his hand towards her, brows raised.

"Joseph Joestar! Now, lil’ miss, what’s yer name? You got one, don’t ya?"

❁— Suzie Q looked down to the other, stopping for only a moment before bursting into tears again. She took in several shaky breaths, trying to contain herself before eventually giving up, letting out small whining noises as she dug into her pocket, bringing out a small square of a handkerchief. She wiped away her tears to try to stop her face from getting any more red.

She mumbles to herself, "Y-You already k-know me though, right..? It's... unfair to you..."

Suzie takes a few moments to herself to try to recompose herself again, swallowing then opening her eyes, slowly trying to reach her hand out to the others, shaking. With a quiet and quivering voice, she introduced herself as "S-Suzie Q." 

She tries to smile, but it's pretty easy to tell she's upset nonetheless. She holds her hand out shakily, too afraid to grab Joseph's hand.

"Ditz-chan doesn’t understand where her place is, does she?” He’s hungry, boo. He’s so, so hungry. He’s going to take one step forward. Two steps. Three steps more. Grinning like there’s no tomorrow.  "Nfu♪ Let me remind you of where exactly you’re living from now on. Or, will you accept it, and run away while you still can? I wonder which option Ditz-chan will pick. ♪"

❁—  ”That's... uh..." She stepped back from the other, hoping that they wouldn't be nearing a wall anytime soon. She put up her hands, both as a sign of being uncomfortable and, if needed, defense... "I'm... not sure what you mean! A-Also, my name's Suzie Q, so please don't... er..." She didn't want to make the other angry, but...
