Here's my most recent Wizard of oz designs, I did a much darker version of The Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion. Though I wouldn't say these are offical they are getting closer. I may need to revamp Lion in the near future. Anyway what do yall think?

He probably has trouble listening to (vaguely) parental figures if he deems them unreliable, that’s why he (somewhat) listens to Optimus and not Sentinel.

Since there are already some dark/horror Oz adaptations plus that one new horror movie coming out, I’d like to pitch my idea for one.
Hear me out: instead of aged up Dorothy being terrorized, it’s just regular child Dorothy and she sees the story as a fairytale while the tin man, scarecrow and lion see it as a horror story. They’re just so focused on keeping her safe that they don’t let her see any of the scary scenes. Everyone else’s pov is filmed as a gritty horror but it occasionally switches to Dorothy’s pov which is filmed in a dreamy way with pretty colors and soft music. In the end, they escape Oz and become the farmhands. My friend @thestalkingentity had the idea that they do this by covering themselves in human flesh disguises and I had the idea that they get the disguises from the wizard’s place because he has a collection of spare body parts (hence why he had brains and hearts).
Basically like Wicked but intentionally horror from the companion’s perspectives.
I think we need to film this now, bc why isn’t there any Oz movies like this it would be so easy!!!!!
But like the concept of the tin man scarecrow and lion trying to hide in human flesh is so funny to me idk why
