The Ningen (translated from Japanese to mean human) was named by coastal fisherman in the 1990s due to its distinct human-like form. These fishermen were even more astounded by the creatures unusual albino color and massive size, of which claims generally are between 60-90ft.

Solid descriptions of the creature vary - some say the Ningen have two, human like legs are are bipedal (as pictured above), while others claim that it has a mermaid-like tail. Generally, there is agreement that the head, torso and appendages resemble a human head, torso, etc. Others have observed a slit-like mouth, large, bulbous eyes and no other facial features.

Since these creatures have only been reported since the late 1900s, it is unlikely they exist - as humans have been exploring the seas for centuries and never before has a creature like this been recorded (aside from mermaids.) Skeptics have speculated Ningens to be anything from a giant albino ray to whales to (of course) aliens.
