Beau wasn’t entirely dense, they could tell that she was upset and they knew that they were the cause of it… But they weren’t entirely sure how they were supposed to handle this. How could they ease her anger and help her calm down? Maybe by explaining? “It wasn’t negative, it was just the truth. I didn’t say your music was bad. I just don’t like it.” They sighed, pushing their hair from their face. They sighed, wishing they could state just how much they hated emotions. They were so hard to grasp, especially their own. Seven kept talking and Beau could feel heat raising through their bones, something they could only explain as anger– though they themselves weren’t sure they had a reason to be angry. But Seven was in their face and they found themselves raising their hands, closing their eyes as they tried to take a deep breath. “Look, you need to calm down. It’s already happened, there’s no going back and changing it.” Though they weren’t entirely sure that they’d change anything even if they could. They weren’t going to stop being honest.

the more that seven had to stand & explain her distaste for the other , the more aggravated she was becoming. was it a hard concept to grasp that what they said wasn’t called for ? she felt her jaw clenching slightly at their repeated sentiment , causing her to shut her eyes for a second & huff loudly. “ like i fucking said. you didn’t have to talk about it at all. you could’ve just redirected the topic to yourself. are you thick ? ” funny how they said they didn’t like her music & yet one of the songs on her sophomore was written by them. cocking her hip to the side & tapping her chin as she faux pondered , she thanked the higher ups for redirecting her impulsiveness away because for a second her coffee was ready to go flying. “ & if you don’t like my music , then i guess you don’t like your own either because did you not write a song for one of my albums ? ” seven not hiding that she was bothered was grinding her own gears. them telling her to ‘ calm down ’ raised her already risen blood pressure to new heights. this wasn’t even her riled up. “ okay , well apologize & we can move on. ”

JADE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHE’S DOING, she’s never considered herself to be the confrontational type ( she’s known for letting others get their hands dirty in her name & she tries to keep it that way. ) & she didn’t think confronting seven was a bad idea - she didn’t think at all to be clear. she just ACTED & doing that always fucks her over. “ i’ll put my hands where i fucking WANT to. ” she regrets the words when they leave her lips, knowing what she’s wearing & knowing that she would absolutely not win any type of fight. she barely hears her friends trying to find her as they scream through the crowd to find her - but she doesn’t acknowledge them. eyes stayed fixated on the person in front of her, a study of seven done in seconds.

IT’S HARD TO IMAGINE THAT THEY HAD BEEN ON GOOD TERMS, that seven was someone jade was looking forward to being friends with. the article hadn’t even been out for two minutes when someone had messaged it to her & she asked renan about it. jade’s never been the forgiving type - it wasn’t something that ran in her blood - & having to watch renan’s morals come under a microscope was something that did not sit well with her. “ at least i don’t leave the media to VILLAINIZE people that shouldn’t be. how the fuck do you sleep at night? ” she feels the eyes slowly shifting to the pair, security no doubt being flagged as back up.

the aspect of her being a celebrity was completely out of the window the moment jade’s fingers made contact with her shoulder. seven didn’t care if this encounter ended up in the tabloids because her pride was in the way. she was being tested & jade wasn’t going to punk her in front of all of these people. tunnel vision was evident as seven took another step towards the blonde with eyes darkening with ever second her eyes were locked on figure in front of her. there was barely any room between them & she stepped any closer she was going to go cross eyed. “ okay , so touch me again & see if i won’t drop you on this fucking club floor , bitch. ” seven spat in complete revulsion. she was prepared for whatever was going to happen since she wasn’t the one acting up due to liquid courage. even if she would look like a rabid animal potentially going to fight in a club , seven’s mind wasn’t thinking as far as the consequences that were going to follow.

seven didn’t understand why jade was going this hard. if she had a problem with her it wasn’t hard to address it at another time. they were cordial at some point & although jade didn’t owe her any loyalty , seven didn’t think her personal affairs had anything to do with her. in fact , they had nothing to do with her at all. hell , if she didn’t care about how renan felt about this whole situation , was she supposed to care about how jade felt ? if he wanted to run around town crying to everyone about him barely being the focus of the conversation , that’s on him. “ how can someone be villianized if nobody knows who the fuck they are ? he should be thanking me for the free promo because if he wasn’t linked with me do you think they would be talking about his mediocre work instead ? i think the fuck not & if you must know , i sleep amazingly on silk chloé sheets knowing that i’m talented , beautiful & rich. ” seven rolled her eyes. “ is someone mad that i decided to pick his face to sit on & you weren’t in the pick of the liter ? is that why you’re really mad , sweetie ? ”

“i mean, it’s something important to you … and something that takes up your time. i should at least fake interest.” half of a shrug is offered up as the waitress makes a temporary stop, each respective party ordering their own drinks. if this wasn’t a formal location, she would cross her legs and allow her body to haunch forward ( but NO ! ) she sits rigid against the seat with a menu politely in her lap, fingers tracing the delicate, faux gold lining the pages. she purposefully fails to immediately respond. lips pressing together as she squints - bad eyesight was a family curse and daria had purposefully failed to knowledge the question. “did you know this was where my parents met? my mom had been a guest and my dad was a waiter. my grandfather always cursed himself for taking her here - she was my age. roland avoids this restaurant like the fucking plague.” she clicks her tongue while turning a page, acting as though she doesn’t know what she wants. seven’s eyes bore into them as they take their time, eventually sighing and leaving their menu open on the table. “one of my friends saw you two together. he knew we were dating and asked renan why he was with you.” nails tap on the laminated paper as they look away for a second before meeting her eyes. “i also saw one of the texts renan sent you. you had gotten a text from your manager and wanted me to read it to you because you were showering. i had already suspected something but i didn’t want to ask.”

“ you shouldn’t have to fake liking something just because we were together. i would’ve rather you have been honest with me & told me you didn’t care. ” how hypocritical of her to speak of honesty when she stepped out on their relationship & was lying for weeks as she gallivanted around la as if she was single. seven smiled softly at the waitress despite the situation , brown eyes scanning the menu quickly. she was itching to have a glass of wine ( or five ) because the situation called for it. when daria brought her parents , seven suppressed a sigh that was ready to slip out of her glossed lips. them dodging the question had seven shifting in her seat. “ that’s really cute. ” seven mustered out , placing her hands on the table. the conversation she was waiting for finally happened & it felt like a weight was slightly lifted off of her shoulder. “ i’m sure they did. ” she didn’t care much that people saw them together , but she did care about people gossiping about her. “ why the fuck are people talking about me ? especially when they don’t even know me. ” seven bitterly replied , deflecting the subject at hand when she was the one that brought it up. “ why would you not ask if we were in a relationship ? if i did something fucked up to you , you should’ve addressed it. you’re acting like nothing happened. it’s fucking weird. ”

It was Andrew’s turn to roll his eyes. “You’re so cute when you’re all worked up.” He drawled out, choosing not to correct her on his name, as it was a weak blow, and he wasn’t going to fall for it. Besides, it was early, and Andrew had a hard time keeping up with normal conversation before his coffee as it was. Thinking and engaging this much was giving him a headache. He regarded her for a moment, debating whether or not this little back and forth was even worth the mental energy. It’d been frightening, and then funny, but now he was just kind of… Bored. “The line is moving, sweetie.” He continued in a teasing tone, gesturing to the empty space behind her, “Unless you wanted to stay this close to me. @svnszn· / JADE ISN’T KNOWN FOR PARTYING, quite the opposite as she’s found herself to become more of homebody with age. that fact doesn’t stop her from going out when her friends decide to drag her from her home. she’s somewhere in los angeles, the PREGAMING had thrown her for a loop as she failed to take note where she was going, but she’s there before she can even pin the location in her phone, the earth already quivering beneath her feet as she steps from the car. a school girl giggle falls from wine colored lips as her friend whispers in her ear while the group cross the threshold. ( jade doesn’t know how long she’s been there before she spots seven, a look of disdain immediately taking over her features & she’s making her way to the stranger before reporting her friends. ) she taps heavily on the woman’s shoulder, heavily swallowing despite the dryness beginning to take a hold of her mouth. “ you set my best friend UP & i think you should LEAVE. like, NOW. ”

it had been months since seven found herself out at a club & actually enjoying herself since she put her party days behind her. even with the protesting that she did to work on her upcoming album , her friends still managed to drag her out onto the streets of la. as much as she loved the attention she got from other club goers , she was extremely grateful for the vip section that was cleared out & awaiting her arrival. her outfit was cute , the drinks were flowing ( even though she was switching them out for water after three shots ) & she was absolutely feeling herself. nights like these were a great remembrance of why she used to party as much as she did when she moved to la. as she made an attempt to shout over the music to tell one of her friends that someone on the edge of their section’s makeup wasn’t matching their neck , a violent tap interrupts her shit talking section. with a look of disgust already on her visage , she whips her blonde locks around to get a look at whoever had the gall to put their hands on her. her eyes locking with a face that was familiar just sent another surge of anger rushing through her body.

her & jade didn’t have much of a relationship , but she didn’t know of anything that she did to her that would make her address her like this. “ first of all , don’t put your fucking hands on me. ” seven started. she automatically rolled her painted eyes at the other bringing up her current scandal & then telling her to leave. now this was comical. seven automatically started to laugh in her face , taking in that the other had to be on something to even speak to her like this. “ aw , i guess he doesn’t have a mouth to speak for himself so he sent his gutter dog to bark for him instead. cute. ” seven stepped around the barrier of the section & stood in front of jade with her arms behind her , eyes looking her up & down. “ how about you make me leave ? ”
