LANA CONDOR —— well, if it isn’t SEPTIMA VECTOR, the SLYTHERIN superstar. for those of you who don’t know HER, you can spot them sitting with the other SIXTH years. most people think that they’re ANALYTICAL and INDEPENDENT, but they can also seem pretty CONTRARY and COMPETITIVE. sometimes people call them the LOGICIAN. sure, they’re a PUREBLOOD, but that doesn’t define them.

aight so ya girl septima was born into a respectable pureblood family, famous for remaining very neutral. the switzerland of the wizarding world basically. they weren’t overtly muggle-phobic or purist or anything but they didn’t exactly stand up for muggle rights either

septima was the seventh kid in her family ( hence her name!! ) but all her siblings are all a lot older than her. basically her parents had her to attempt to save their failing marriage and? didn’t work. they divorced when septima was three & she’s grown up used to going back and forth between her parents’ houses

but it was a very neutral and civilized separation as is everything the vectors do. her older siblings & the older members of her family are all healers & ministry workers & head editors for the daily prophet & potioneers and other such prestigious careers and yeah basically that’s a lot of pressure

she was always a very curious kid and she remains curious To This Day!!! almost was sorted into ravenclaw cause of it. but she wasn’t cause i didnt wanna overdose on the ravenclaw characters. it also means she a nosey bitch 

all of her family is very logical and sensible and educated and honestly septima is too. she can connect the dots like nobody’s business, she loves puzzles and figuring stuff out and is very rational minded

but also her family is all very neutral and diplomatic and septima is a blunt ho. says what she thinks. loves debates. devil’s advocate, lives for confrontation.

and she has a ridiculous independent streak. she doesn’t want to be like her family, she wants to be her own person, and she isn’t afraid to show it. the queen of “i can do it myself”. if anyone tells her she can’t do something, she’ll do it. just to spite them

lives on spite actually. spite and coffee. she takes it with at least three sugars

anyways but other than her being ridiculously competitive and detached, she’s actually such a dork? probably does the crossword puzzles and sudoku in the paper every morning. and whatever other wizard puzzles they have. she also loves muggle science she thinks its so fuckin neat. astronomy, arithmancy, also both right up her alley

so you might be wondering huh why didn’t she get sorted into ravenclaw? its cause this girl’s got drive and ambition like u wouldn’t believe. once she sets her mind on something, there’s no changing it, and she’s gonna get what she wants. she’s also super strategic and self-serving. u already know this bitch puts herself first

she’s really into arithmancy cause it’s like .... predicting the future with numbers? like she started taking it because she knew her parents would think it was ridiculous ( cause it’s fortune telling in a way ) but it wasn’t so ridiculous as divination, but she actually fell in love with it? 

uh anyways i don’t know if she really has too many friends or if she’s had any real relationships cause she’s super competitive and independent and blunt but she’s also just a fuckn dork. probably makes puns and shit

she’s on the slytherin quidditch team as a seeker ( i know regulus is canonically the seeker but we dont HAVE a reg ) cause idk she’s all about that strategy and she’s light and quick and nimble and, again, competitive As Fuck
