Hari waves to the camera and greets the viewers. "Hello, GQ Korea subscribers! This is Seventeen's Hari, and welcome to My Essentials. Today, we're going to go through my bag," she says, pulling up her purse, "and talk about everything that's inside. Just know that I carry a lot of things, and maybe I'll even convince you to get a few of them." Hari laughs, lightly blushing before clearing her throat, "First, let me introduce my bag. This is the Dior Toujours Bag in the medium size, in the Latte Macrocannage calfskin finish. I received it as a gift from my brothers to congratulate me on winning a triple crown on Inkigayo during last year's solo promotions. It's become my everyday bag, and I absolutely love how much it can hold." She smiles as she opens it, "Now, let's grab the first thing..."

iNSiDE THE BAG !

"So, the first thing I have in my bag is my Owala water bottle!" Hari says with a bright smile, holding up the bottle for the camera, "My friend in America sent this to me about a month ago. Apparently, it was exclusive to a sporting goods store there, and she happened to stumble across it! I just love how it's this mauvy pink color with little specks of shimmer. It's sooo pretty. I believe the name is Boss Babe? Or something similar to that." She admires the bottle for a moment before continuing, "It's honestly became one of my everyday essentials ever since it arrived in the mail. I always fill it with ice water before I leave, and it stays cold pretty much all day, which I really love. It also reminds me of my friend every time I use it, so it makes me happy."

Next, Hari pulls out a small sunglasses case. "These are my sunglasses!" she says, holding up the case to the camera. "The case is from Baggu. It's the Puffy Glasses Sleeve in the Pink Houndstooth pattern. I heard it was part of their Fall/Winter collection this year, and I had to grab it as soon as I saw it because it's so pretty." She carefully opens the case and slides out a pair of black sunglasses, slipping them on with a grin, "And these are the sunglasses themselves. They're the Heart Dewy in black from Double Lovers. I immediately fell in love with the little silver heart detail on the sides, so I knew I had to get them." Hari tilts her head and looks into the camera. "Do they look good on me? I hope so," she says with a laugh.

After rummaging through her bag for a moment, Hari pulls out two small cases. "These are my best friends!" she says with a laugh, holding one in each hand, "First, these are my Apple AirPods Pro. I think they're the newest version... Pro 3? Pro 4? I'm actually not sure." She laughs sheepishly. "But, like everyone else, I use them to listen to music, watch videos—basically everything." She flips open the charging case for the camera before snapping it shut and setting it aside. "And this bad boy is my newest obsession." Hari holds up the second case with a smile. "These are the Loop Switch 2 earplugs in the iridescent color. Recently, my ears have become a lot more sensitive than usual, so an acquaintance recommended them to me. They have different modes depending on the situation, which I think is really convenient." She opens the case to show the earplugs inside. "I've completely fallen in love with them. I feel like my ears don't get as tired anymore, especially in noisy places, and everything just feels a lot more comfortable. If I had to recommend one thing from everything in my bag, it would definitely be these."

"Oh! This is my wallet," Hari says, pulling it out with a smile. "It's the Dior Lucky Lady Dior Dahlia Wallet in pale pink cannage lambskin with the little heart motif." She holds it up close to the camera, turning it slightly so the details catch the light. "I actually saw this on TikTok, and the second I saw it, I knew I had to buy it. It's just so my style." She grins. "It's cute, it's pink, it has hearts... I mean, what more could I ask for?" After giving the wallet one last look, she slips it back into her bag and reaches for the next item.

"Next is my digital camera!" Hari says, pulling it out with a smile. "I actually saw Madison Beer using one, and I thought it was so cute, so I ended up getting one too." She holds it up for the camera, "This is the Canon PowerShot ELPH 360 HS in silver. I honestly don't use it as much as I'd like because I usually ask Mingyu oppa to help me transfer the photos afterward." She laughs. "I'm not very good with camera technology." She pauses before adding, "I've had a lot of Carats tell me they want to see more pictures taken with this camera, so I'll definitely ask for some help and start using it more." Hari presses the power button, points the camera at herself, and snaps a quick selfie. She glances at the screen before turning it toward the camera. "Sorry... I'm still not that good at taking pictures with it," she says with a shy laugh.

Next, Hari pulls out two small jewelry cases. One of the velvet boxes is embossed with the Haneul & Stone logo. "These are the jewelry cases for the necklace and bracelet I'm wearing," she says, setting the boxes down before holding up the pieces for the camera to see. She smiles sheepishly, "My family owns the brand... so I guess it's only natural that I wear their jewelry." She lets out an awkward laugh. "I don't think I've ever actually said this publicly before, but we're on really good terms." She smiles warmly. After adjusting her bracelet, Hari places the jewelry cases back into her bag and reaches for the next item.

"Finally, we're halfway through!" Hari says with a laugh as she pulls out two colorful pouches, "These are from Baggu—again." She smiles sheepishly. "It's the Flat Pouch Set in the Hello Kitty and Friends Western print." She holds up the larger pouch first, "I have the two biggest ones with me today. This Hello Kitty pouch is the large size, and it's my little SOS pouch." She grins. "I'll show you what's inside in a minute." Then she lifts the second pouch. "And this Chococat one is the medium size. This is where I keep all of my makeup." Hari pauses and looks back inside her bag. "The smallest one is Cinnamoroll, but... I think I left it in the car." She laughs, looking slightly embarrassed. "I couldn't find it before we started filming, so I guess it'll have to sit this one out."

MAKEUP BAG !

"Inside my Chococat makeup pouch is... actually quite a few things!" Hari says, peeking inside. "So let's do a little speed round."

She begins taking each item out one by one.

"First, I have my cushion from Yunjac. It's the Skin Perfecting Base Prep Fitting Cushion in shade 21N." Holding it up to the camera, she pats a little onto the back of her hand to show the shade before setting it aside.

"Next is my Blur Powder Pact from About_Tone in shade 02 Light." She does another quick swatch for comparison.

"These are blotting sheets from fillimilli." Hari opens the package and demonstrates how they work. "You take the puff, press it onto the sheet..." she says slowly, "...and voilà! It sticks right on, and then you can blot away any oil like this." She smiles after patting her T-zone.

"I feel like almost everyone knows what this is," she says, pulling out a small pink bottle. "It's the Biodance Collagen Peptide Jelly Serum Mist."

She gives the bottle a little shake, "This is one of my absolute favorites. I've tried a lot of facial mists, but this one works the best for me. It leaves my skin feeling really hydrated without making it feel heavy."

Finally, Hari gathers four lip products and lines them up in front of her. "And lastly... my lippies! I only brought my main four today."

She picks up the first tube, "This one is from Uriage. It's their Stick Lèvres lip balm. I put it on in the morning while I'm doing my skincare and makeup, and then again before I go to bed. It's simple, but it works really well."

Next, she reaches for a gloss. "This is probably my favorite lip gloss right now. It's the HERA Sensual Nude Gloss in Lingerie."

She swatches it on the back of her other hand, revealing a soft pink shine, "Isn't that pretty?"

Hari picks up the final two products, "These are both from rom&nd. This is the Glasting Water Gloss in 00 Meteor Track, and this is the Juicy Lasting Tint in 03 Bare Grape."

She swatches both beside the gloss, "I bought Meteor Track because I loved the little blue sparkles in it, and it has this nice, slightly cooling feeling when you put it on."

Pointing to the tint, she continues, "And Bare Grape completely surprised me. It ended up being the perfect MLBB shade for me, which almost never happens."

Hari holds up her wrist, now covered in swatches, "I think these four are pretty much always in my bag."

SOS POUCH !

"And finally... my SOS pouch!" Hari says with a grin, unzipping the Hello Kitty pouch and taking everything out. She neatly lines each item up in front of her, "These are just little everyday essentials that I always like to have with me."

She points to the first two items: a tin of bandages and a small tube of ointment, "These bandages are from Welly. The same friend who sent me my water bottle also sent these." She smiles warmly. "She knows I'm a sucker for cute bandages, and she said they reminded her of me. They're ice cream-themed—isn't that adorable?" Hari opens the tin and flips through the different designs for the camera before picking up the ointment. "And this is Madecassol ointment that I picked up from the pharmacy. It's for treating little cuts and minor burns, so I always keep it with my bandages."

Hari sets them aside and moves on to three smaller items.

"The next three are all for oral care."

She holds up a tiny travel case, "First, I have some dental floss in this little travel case. Very cute, very simple. It's from this American brand called Plackers."

Next comes a small spray bottle.

"This is the Euthymol mouth spray in the peach flavor. I usually buy the original mint one, but when I went to Olive Young, I saw the last mint one on the shelf. Right as I was about to grab it, another girl walked over and took it." Hari laughs. "So I had to settle for the peach one. It's actually not bad... but I still prefer the mint."

She gives herself a quick spritz before smiling at the camera.

"Next are these Duo Burster Mint Balls from Garglin." Hari opens the tiny clear container filled with blue mint balls.

"You just pop one in your mouth, and you can literally feel the mintiness spreading everywhere." She laughs. "That probably sounds funny, but they're so refreshing."

Finally, she reaches for a silver can. "And the last thing is from Dr.ForHair. It's the Aero Cooling Spray."

She gives it a shake, lifts a section of her hair, and sprays it near her scalp.

"Oh..." she sighs happily as the cooling sensation kicks in. "This feels amazing." She fans herself dramatically.

"It's honestly perfect during the summer because it cools you down almost instantly. I get hot really easily, so this has become one of my absolute must-haves. If you also overheat like I do, I definitely recommend trying it."

"So, I've shown you all of my essentials today..." Hari says, looking down at all of the items spread out in front of her.

She looks around at the collection and laughs.

"I honestly don't know how everything fit inside this bag." She bursts into giggles, shaking her head in disbelief.

"Just one?" Hari pouts at the camera. "You're so cruel..."

She thinks for a moment, tapping her finger against her chin.

"But if I really had to choose... probably my Loop earplugs. I feel like I can't survive without them anymore."

Hari smiles as she begins putting her things back into her bag.

She waves at the camera.

BACKGROUND !

jung hari was born on march 14, 1998, in seoul, south korea, to jung jangcheol and kim hyemin. she comes from a wealthy family that owns korea’s first luxury jewelry brand, haneul & stone. as an only child, hari is considered the black sheep of the family for choosing to pursue an idol career instead of preparing to take over the family business.

in 2010, hari auditioned for jyp, cube, and pledis entertainment. she ultimately chose pledis, as they were the only company that consistently reached out to her in an effort to sign her as a trainee.

after 4 1/2 years of training, hari appeared in various pre-debut content, including seventeen tv and hoshi and seungkwan’s andromeda. as the most popular female trainee, pledis decided to include her in the final lineup alongside the other seventeen members.
