          meli let out a heavy sigh “it’s a bookstore, how can you not manage it for a couple of hours?” the least favourite part of her plan was having to keep her cover maintained to get close enough to her target. she had made the mistake of hiring a complete idiot to work at the bookstore she was given after the owner had a mental breakdown. the anger was bubbling up within her as her tone lowered and her eyes grew dark, a sight and sound that would terrify any mortal who witnessed it. “if you call me again i will make sure you can’t speak in complete sentences ever again. do you understand me?” she hung up the phone before allowing the mortal to answer looking at the other across from her “i should have stayed in the underworld, i can’t stand mortals.”

            “weddings are just scams for money and gifts.” eunah hated weddings. the moment she walked in on her fiancé and maid of honour making out she avoided weddings at all costs, but the couple was a long term client of her shop so she couldn’t turn down the invitation. “but hey, it’s good for me and my job!” she finished the glass of wine, now unsure of how many she had had during the evening. “they need to show it off. the worst for me are the newlyweds that are trying for kids. like, we get it! you two are going at it like rabbits, stop politely shoving it in our faces.”

          minha’s teeth chattered as she tried her best to stay warm. she hadn’t checked the weather before leaving and the weather had turned quite chilly, so there she was without any form of jacket or sweater. feeling aera’s hand on her shoulder she started warming up “oh my god, that feels so much better. thank you.”

❛ you’re right… I wouldn’t let you out there looking bad . ❜ she reiterates with amusement flowing through her voice, though her eyes never stray from his face. instead she flicks the edge of the eyeliner perfectly and excitement settles on her face as she pulls away only slightly. the hand on his chin carefully moving him back a tad bit so she can make sure the sides are even. its then and only then that she realizes how close they actually are, eyes flickering away from his orbs and to his lips and back in a single and quick movement. carefully a blush blooms on her face and she has to resist the urge to bolt – she was a professional and yes, he was handsome and made her heart beat unreasonably fast but that didn’t mean she could just act like a school girl. ❛ it’s not putting up with you…I like… . ❜ she trails off for a moment, teeth worrying her bottom tier. ❛ I like being around you wonbin… ❜

          wonbin smiled at her, his ears tinging a light shade of pink. while being known as a stoic leader she made him all nervous and jittery, not that he minded, as long as he got to see her he was happy. hearing her comment, the pink on his ears darkened and his eyes widened, his dark eyes never leaving her face. his thoughts were racing a mile a minute, unsure of how to respond or react to her words. while it felt like minutes it really only took him a few seconds to make the decision of leaning forward and he pressed a quick kiss to her lips before backing away slightly, eyes wide in realisation “i... i’m sorry, i shouldn’t have done that...”
