WHAT THE FUCK

I will DIE if August is actually cut
if taylor cuts long live she better delivers the best TTPD setlist
i admire taylor's commitment to creating pure and constant chaos, no notes
For those who dont know
never imagined she'd shuffle the eras but here we are
"Paris, are we enjoying the Red era so far? Oh I’m happy to hear it. This crowd is just my favorite type of crowd. You are a crowd of dreams! Let me tell you why, because I’m looking out into the crowd and I’m making extreme eye contact with everyone. I’m dancing, with everyone, we’re in this moment together, we are so present, and it means the world to us as performers that when you show up to a concert, and you treat us that way, it makes us feel like you really wanted to be here with us tonight, and that makes us want to go even harder for you! And it makes us want to show you all kinds of fun surprises. That’s what it makes us want to do. You know, this tour has been one of my favorites—I think its probably been the best experience of my life, honestly, because I’ve always loved getting to tour. But one thing I wish I would’ve gotten to do is I wish I would’ve gotten to spend more time in France, tour Europe more. I wish I would’ve gotten to play all of our tours for you, and this tour, the Eras Tour, is a chance for us to bring you all of my favorite memories from those tours—tours where I didn’t get to come see you in France—and get to collect all of them and experience all of it together. So, the fact that you’d show up the way you have, the fact that you’d sell out four of these shows in a row, I cannot thank you enough. I’m so moved. And there is one song left from Red that I would love to play, if you happen to have about 10 minutes to spare?"
— Taylor before playing All Too Well (10 Minute Version) in Paris, France on May 9th
i am LOSING MY MIND at this show !!!
NEW LOVER BODYSUIT AND BLAZER JUST DROPPED!
This really is opening night 2.0 bc we have no idea wtf is going to happen at this point
LOOK AT HER
taylor every time she walks back out on that stage about to cause more chaos
thinking about Ed’s lyrics in his End Game verse, which is about how he came to fall in love with Cherry and how they are a good fit, and one of the reasons he lists off is “and you understand the good and bad end up in the song”
the thing about these mashups and why they make the show so unique that particular night is that they are truly a once in a lifetime event. The mashup taylor sings probly will never happen exactly this way ever again!!! so even though the tour is in year two and has been in the movie theater the Mashup Era we’re in now really makes the show remain completely special and fresh and still new for the people who are there each night
I’m surprised so many people think it was Joe who didn’t want to settle down or whatever. I hear the opposite all over Midnights.
my takeaway from midnights is a bit different than yours, but also…. “i wouldn’t marry me either” has entered the chat
i've said it before and i'll say it again: unrelenting nature of memory best core theme in taylor's discography
