The Origins of Swampclan

Deep in the heart of a trash-ridden wasteland, a group of cats has taken residence after a sign from Starclan was sent to a cat named Silverpelt after their old home was left in ruin due to Twolegs. They promised their future will be better here, but is that true? Only time can tell.

To find ask responses, you can search #swampclan q&a or find answers by specific characters by searching their names! If a character changes names, their old name will remain on a few asks after the change.

Asks for characters are always open unless stated otherwise, with the exception of characters who are dead (no pestering Starclan) or kits under 3 moons old!

I do try my best to respond to all of them, but I may not be able to if they go against the tone/story I wish to set. Some asks recieved may be answered later if I feel it fits better into the story at a later time. If your ask does not get answered, this is nothing personal against you or your question!

Turns out... making a comic, even in a way where I purposfully made it as simple as possible... is hard??? Next you're going to tell me the sky is blue, grass is green, and there are forks in my kitchen. Back to serious mode. Making pages is hard. When I have the time, I don't have the motivation. When I have the time, I don't have the motivation. I am often always drawing, but never these pages.

Even so, I don't want to abandon what I've done here. I at least want to get to certain Moons I think have interesting events happen in them. So, here is my question: Would you be interested in a read-only version of this blog?

Moons would be told in short fanfic-like format, and asks would be done without images. Writing out what the pages would have been would be a lot easier for me to do. Plus, you'll get to see what I've been alluding to for so very long. Please let me know! Leave a comment, send an ask, anything to get in contact with me, really.

Hatchstar... i think it's time to put your foot down about sycamore. If ashenears wants an assertive leader? Give her one. Punish them both because it's time they face some sort of consequence for continually disrespecting a leader. Glintpelt you need to talk with her now and limit sycamore interactions with her. If this keeps up one of them will kill hatchstar.

S: Perhaps it wasn't fully my choice to become a healer, but I am still happy to serve my clanmates in this way.

Glintpelt tells Silverpelt about a dream they had last night, and what the StarClan vision could mean for SwampClan

Silverpelt shakes his head sadly. He cannot make sense of the vision.

The only reason he feels shame is because of how yall are reacting to them. Seriously with how half of yall treat him I don't blame him for not talking about it. Also the fact that the other parent could be dead is a legitimate reason for hatchstar to be grieving ashen. It's clear your to blinded by hatred that hatchstar has. Not. Earned. Neither of you are being nice to each other. Also some cats are just naturally more private. Hatchstar is clearly just someone who is naturally shy and nervous. There's nothing wrong with that. Starclan made him leader. To be honest I truly hope that wasn't a sign because it's clear to me you'd make a terrible leader if this is how you treat others who are nervous. Every person is different. Hatchstar is nervous and that's ok.

A: I've explained myself already. So has Sycamoresplash. If you don't want to understand that, then it's pointless to keep talking about this.

Hatchstar, you're kinda over reacting over a possibly messy eater? And whatever you think it is couldnt possibly just be cus you're kinda stressing? cus *coughBringinginrandomkits-that-totally-arent-yours-totallycough*

Ashen you.. do know the clan needs more cats right? Like it or not him having kits is HELPING the clan. Theirs what... 7 or 8 of yall? Someone was gonna have kits eventually. Also that was his only questionable thing he's done in only 10 moons. I bet in a few moons some cat else will bring kits into camp.

A: And if they're dead, Hatchstar is spitting on their grave by refusing to say their name. There's no need to hide it from us other than saving his pride.

Really the only one acting immature is YOU. Sycamore he's been leader for what.. 10 moons? That type of stuff doesn't just click for someone. Especially since it seems you literally encouraged your apprentice to HATE her leader.

S: And Ashenears is her own cat. She has her own opinions. She came to feel that way herself.

A: If he really had faith in Starclan and Silverpelt, he would be trying to make this place better. But noooo, let's go run off enough to have kits with a random cat!
