Are you traumatized by being beaten by your alcoholic father when you were a child? Have you tried asking your partner or a friend to get drunk and beat you, so that you can finally be in control of your life and fully recover?

Are you traumatized by spending time in a war zone? Have you tried asking your friends to explode a bunch of shit around you and pretend to be dead so that you can experience the healing powers of consent?

Experienced enslavement and suffering trauma as a consequence? Why not become someone’s human pet and let them lead you around on a leash and make you eat out of a dog bowl and do all their house chores? The biggest mistake was thinking liberal or progressive automatically meant pro woman.

I hope the experience with woman-hating, faux "progressive" gender identity ideologies means that in the future, feminists do not fully align themselves with any political identity, and women's rights are considered an independent political force.

The reality is that wherever males are, the threat of patriarchal, anti-woman values exist. Men on both sides pick and choose what rights and proections they'll allow women to have.

The entire point of women's rights needs to be getting out from under their thumb and to stop being at the mercy of what rights males think it's okay for women to have.
