I was listening to this song last night and couldn’t stop myself.
Tried singing it a little😭 definitely not perfect, but I genuinely enjoyed every second of it.
This song is somehow so nostalgic for me💗

nothing scares me more than someone loving me one day and deciding they don't want me the next. nothing terrifies me more than being so close to someone and then watching them become stranger again
who am i without the curse of getting abandoned by the people i love the most.
The only motivation i have right now is thinking about how well I’m gonna sleep tonight after hours of work 😭
Good morning (with a tiny bit of Raag Bhairav🫣)

Hiii! I made this account to share my singing.
I’m a very shy person, and putting my voice out there where people I know might hear it feels incredibly nerve wracking. But deep down, I still want my voice to be heard, even if only by strangers passing by. Hehe.
I haven’t been singing regularly for a long time now, so my voice isn’t as polished as it once was. But I hope, to find my way back to it with whatever time i have. So, excuse my voice and the mistakes I made for this one.
This bandish is from one of my absolute favourite- Raag Tilak Kamod. I’ve never had proper classical training, but I’ve been fortunate enough to learn a few precious things from my Guruji, and this is one of them.
Lyrics:
(PS: the random pause i took in between is because I thought my dad came in my room lol that’s how terrified I am of someone hearing my singing🥴)
@weirdo-offical its you
I have never shared how i sound singing hindustani classical ever. I had a huge gap of around 3 years due to academics, and now that i’m back at it..
saavan ghan garaje, is a bandish from raag miya malhar, a wonderful creation of Miya Tansen ji, one of the nine gems in the court of Akbar. He is believed to have been able to bring rains by singing this raag. This raag is associated with rain, and its rejuvenating effects, and is one of my favourites.
I may not sound too good due to the severe lack of practice, but I am trying to get back at where I was 3 years ago.
Thinking about Bandish Bandits on Prime Video and how many of the songs reference clouds and storms a lot. I am too small-brained to do an analysis but someone should. I love the classical songs so much I never thought classical-rock fusion could sound so good
