Rules hold the world together. Rules keep things in check. You not cutting in line at school? That's a rule. Not running with scissors is a rule. Laws, are Rules. Laws hold the world together. You break them, you get punished. That's how its supposed to go. This story has been written by none other than I, who holds those punishable for breaking the law.
The laws are simple, don't mess with mortals and their destinies. Unknowns are created when we do. What's an unknown? Someone i cannot see. Someone that can destroy everything built. They must be eliminated. Completely. Every version, it has to be scraped clean. I cannot sway! I cannot change my mind on this.
But I did. And this story, is how I did. And this story, will be published, and you will think this all just a fictional story.
Let me start from the beginning
There are such things as... Guardians. Put in place over time. Not God's. Do not worship us. We stay out of mortal eyes. The Protector of life, the Protector of Death, surely, over time there were many variations of such. The Guardian of Life protects life. He cannot create, or destroy. Destroying goes against his code. He makes sure every living thing is protected. He can heal, but cannot create.
Protector of Death moves souls away from bodies. Guides them to the light. Each Guardian is created when it is needed. And some, can go bad. That's what started this mess. A petty dispute really.
As you read these accounts, please know, I worked with an... acquaintance to write this so that you may read this art.
Now, let's set the scene. We're in a library
The library was endless. Shelves upon shelves, upon shelves. So many bookshelves. The books all looked old and worn out. The library itself seemed elegant, and worn with time. The room was dark, and felt cold. The moment anyone walked in, it felt oppressing. Three figures stood huddled together. One wore a cloak, hiding his face from candlelight. "Is it true then?" A female voice. "If this doesn't stop, we'll be destroyed?" Another voice chimed in, more childish. "... That would be such a shame..." The cloaked figure silenced the two. "I have seen what needs to be done. I cannot promise the future will stay the same when I put this plan in place. Do not, interfere outside of this plan." The two other figures looked at eac other for a moment. "You two may dislike one another, but this is important. You became what you are because the worlds need you." The cloaked figure continued, avoiding a likely fight that would ensue. He grabbed a book off a nearby shelf and opened it. The book was worn, the pages looked as if they were written centuries ago. "...I need you two, to guard this home. This timeline, specifically."
He extended the book, letting them see the image. The words kept scrambling. There was no telling what the future would be.
"There's a girl... a chance she could rise up, and destroy what we are up against. It may not be certain, but if I know this, it won't be long until the other party knows." The book closed loudly. Dust flew off it as it did shut.
The other figure, the slightly glowing man, coughed. The woman dressed in black, tilted her head. "Protect? My duty is for the dead. Not the living. That's his job." She sneered, acting as if the man beside her was beneath her. "Excuse me? My job is fun!" The other man started, about to say more. His mouth opened, but the cloaked figure silenced them. "Enough. None of this goes out to anyone else. Do as you're told. Work together. I would not have you work together if it wasn't life threatening." The cloaked figure took a step back, before turning away
The other man started, about to say more. His mouth opened, but the cloaked figure silenced them. "Enough. None of this goes out to anyone else. Do as you're told. Work together. I would not have you work together if it wasn't life threatening." The cloaked figure took a step back, before turning away, towards the middle of the room. "You know what to do. You know who we're up against. If you do not do as i tell you to, surely, you'd love to join the void?" The cloaked figure's head tilted. This wasn't an empty threat. His tone sent shivers down both of the other two's spines. "Sorry... sir." The man spoke, his head bowed. "I'll protect this place with all that's in me!" The woman scoffed. "Did you not see that it was a little girl? Not a house?" She rolled her eyes. The man beside her bristled. "Enough." The cloaked figure sounded tired of this. "You may leave." He waved his hand. He had another book now. "I want to check in in a few weeks. Until then, see me never." The woman didn't wait a second longer. She dissappeared before the other man could blink. Into the shadows.
When the woman was gone, the other man sighed, before disappearing too.
It was midnight. Outside the weather was clear. A younger girl was wide awake when she should've been sleeping. She suddenly sat up when someone appeared right at the foot of her bed. When she blinked, it was gone. She tilted her head. Suddenly, a fox had climbed through her window. "Mister Fox!" She whispered, happily. He held the plush toy in hjs mouth that she had been missing. The fox had climbed into her bed, dropping the plush, and pulling her blanket over her more, as if telling her to get some rest. The girl hugged her plush owl, and yawned. Maybe she was tired after all? An owl landed on her windowsill. She waved, sleepily. And laid back down. Within a few moments, she was out. Like a light. The fox stepped away, and turned back. He was a man with a slight glowing goldish green color. His hair was green with gold specs throughout. The owl transformed into a woman. Dark black hair, a dress made from the shadows themselves. "...I didn't think she would recognize a fox. Have you been interfering, before the orders?" The woman was sitting at the windowsill, judging the man before her. "...I look after all the living She wandered into the woods weeks ago He readjusted her blanket, and patted the girl's head. "Some children told her to wander out. I had to keep her from falling of a ledge." The woman frowned. "I don't like having escort children. Thank you." She murmur "Was that you thanking me?" The man smirked, grinning at her. She glared at him, not responding. "Whats so special about a little girl?" The woman muttered, coldly. "How should I know? I don't question the orders we are given. Have you seen the void, Morwen?" The man uttered, fear of the void in his tone.
"It's not something to be taken lightly." Morwen snickered at his fear, almost reveling in it. "As fun as this is, someone just died. I must attend to her. You may watch over this girl until I return." Morwen disappeared into the shadows again. The man stood over the girl's bed. His brow furrowed. "I won't let anything happen to you, little one." He uttered, before turning into a fox again. He hopped through the window, and closed it.
He hid in the bushes the rest of the night.

Do y’all think after the baby fever passed, Henry was left in charge of Peter a lot and Peter’s first word ended up being ‘Henry’, but their mother always told Peter it was ‘Mum’? And that Peter’s stuffed bunny was actually Henry’s who gave it to Peter to stop him from crying in his crib and never asked for it back?
Horrid Henry has for whatever reason developed a modern fandom and is having a renaissance, so here are the British children’s shows I think deserve a proper fandom
Strange Hill High
I’ve seen a few people talking about it so it might also be having a sort of renaissance?
Genuinely hilarious
Canon ADHD representation hell yeah
It’s basically if the twilight zone was inside a British high school
The Sparticle Mystery
Genuinely one of the best non-episodic kids shows I ever watched
I love the world building so much, it’s probably the reason I loved mad max so much when I was older
Young Dracula
Kind of has a fandom but honestly not enough
This is the loving vampires website why aren’t more people loving these vampires?
Robin is me. Robin is all of us.
Wizards Vs Aliens
I mean if that title alone doesn’t immediately get you interested idk what will
Literally what it says on the tin, it’s about wizards fighting aliens who want to feed on their magic
My Parents Are Aliens
This show is so popular they’re still airing it like two whole decades after it ended, yet there’s no modern fandom? Ridiculous
Honestly I just think more people should watch it whether a fandom picks up or not
Probably had a way bigger influence on my absurdist sense of humour than I even realise
Genuinely interesting sci-fi concepts all throughout but my favourite is the shapeshifting house, some kids wanted to live in disney channel houses, I wanted to live here
Looking back I’m realising that I’m basically Trent at this point, I used to wonder why he put up with Mel’s bullshit but now I’m older I get it, I’d also have done whatever a pretty punk girl asked me to as a teenager
My mum told me last night that if she had known of the name when I was born, I could have been named Azrael, like, a fucking badass angel name?? Are you kidding me? I COULD HAVE BEEN TURBO???
