she'd never heard this man say so many words in a row. she let him ramble on but her face turned to a much softer expression, almost adoration. she covered his hand with hers and smiled. "i don't want an open marriage. i ended it, to give this a shot. it had... run it's course, anyway. i don't love her. i think it was more of a... lust thing, and it's over." she spoke, needing him to understand that she had chosen him, her famiuly, this arrangement. "but it's nice to hear how open minded you are, if that is ever necessary, but... i'd rather just explore this with you." she spoke, touched by how kind and romantic he seemed to be.
"i just wanted you to know, so you don't find out and then think i'm still pursuing that or that my sexuality is some big secret. i am committed to you, this this." she clarified. "and you're my first... well, boyfriend, husband, all that, so like... that's another dimension i wanted you to be aware of. it's... new in many ways for me," she explained and hoped her intentions were clearer now.
"but how sweet of you, that you'd not want to break up my great romance," she said and smiled at him. "you've got a heart under that... well, frat boy exterior," she teased and reluctantly let go of his hand, because it had been nice, some physical closeness. "i like it." she teased.
