this is such fucking bullshit tbh, people try not to use gofundme because their fees are exorbitant at 2.9%, youcaring’s being 0, 

people used youcaring because youcaring didn’t take all your fucking money like gofundme did

so what does gofundme do to get around the fact that people don’t like their piece of shit website? oh you know they just further oligopolize the crowdfunding scene on the internet you know how it is

they may not change how youcaring works immediately, but you can’t convince me this isn’t on their agenda buying out all the crowdfunding services that take money out of their greedy pockets, stopping them from further profiting off of people’s compassion for others.

In all seriousness, I HIGHLY reccommend Bleach. It’s like, the best rep for Black characters in anime that isn’t Mitchiko To Hatchin or Samurai Champloo or Afro-Samurai (I see those as, like, Afro-Anime, like their own sub-genre specifically for Black fans). Black people of multiple skintones and hairstyles all portrayed as complex and varied characters. Check it out if you can get past the crazy plot, and maybe look up the Hidden Cloud Village from the last season of Naruto (their Jinchuriki is a complete stereorype, but every other Black character from the village is okay, so I’m thinking either the artist realized his mistake or it was never his intention to make the one character like that in the first place).

I just felt like her inclusion into the story felt more natural (unlike Tousen, Yoruichi, and the Hidden Cloud) and not exaggerated (like Afro-Samurai and Mitchiko To Hatchin). I would say Chad is up there (but he gets the racially ambiguous tag because mexican isn’t a race lmao)
