uM survivor AU HAHA where ilya and shane are both hockey players who try out for the show and end up on the same season and obviously you can't have to jockey beef cakes on the same team so they immediately get separated and it's always just the two of them demolishing team challenges while half their team is covered in mud and dragged behind them. shane's team usually wins most of the team challenges because shane is actually a military drill sargeant with his team and within days they have crazy ass shelter and fire and food that shane hunts because he's finally getting to use all that doomer survivalist redditor knowledge he's amassed while ilya's team is like huddled in a cave while they all hold hands and sing early 2000's pop ballads together as their fire slowly burns out, and as their food supply slowly dwindles. but despite this they STILL manage to make shane's team sweat every time during the challenges which makes shane so mad because ilya's barely even trying.

anyway and then they get to the merge and get a chance to hang out way more often and they do form an alliance because of course the other people on the island want to get them out as fast as possible because i can't stress enough they are 6ft tall beefcakes with passable intelligence and in survivor world that means they are like. instant threats. so they form an alliance and ilya thinks he's playing shane because he's taking a socially awkward stick in the mud to the final two which means he will definitely win final tribal council. and shane thinks he's playing ilya because ilya's innoculating him from stupid social bullshit that he didn't want to deal with in the first place.

and then they get to the final two challenge and shane of course beats ilya however in the final tribal council the majority ends up voting for ilya just like he planned because he's a little social schemer and shane's SO angry and upset and is doing a really bad job of not showing it on TV except then ilya takes the 1 million dollars and the second the cameras cut he takes shane out on a 2-week long first date where they have a lot of sex on yachts and shane's still a little withholding the entire time because he definitely should've won but this only makes ilya want to jump his bones more so anyway. rinse and repeat. and send POST.
